One more thing I added to my shopping list; I went and bought a pair of the Crocs Tones today. I LOVE them!! I've walked around the house in them and they feel great. The best thing is they're not bulky like regular Crocs or even Skechers Shape Ups. So cute!! I'd suggest walking into a store and trying them on b/c they're sized differently but if you order them online here's a code for them to be $30. Crocs2999. It's good until 06/30.

If we're walking the parks, why not burn all the calories we can right? LOL

Just got back today!! It is very hot there and very crowded. I can't believe how crowded it is. It was pretty exhausting so I recommended taking lots of little breaks inside air conditioned rooms. We had a good time and I will be doing a food review so I will put a link to that in here.

I have been preparing for the heat with our temps around here. Today is was 100 and it felt like it was 105. Ick! I hope that you had a nice time. June can be very crowded. We have never been to Disney without the crowds so I don't really know any different. Can't wait to hear about your trip!

I am going to miss being online. Maybe I will see you at AKV.

We leave in 7 hours! I still have several things on my to do list. I'm going to get the minivan washed and filled up this morning. Then I need to get some cash for tolls. The last of the packing, load up the van, then hit the road after lunch.

I'm jealous of y'all that are leaving soon! We just got back less than a week ago, but I already want to go back. So much stuff we didn't do and the kids (and me and DH) had so much fun! I can see why people go so often. I didn't get it before we went. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be back until 2013. At least Fantasyland should be done by then

Today is "run around like a crazy woman" day. Last-minute shopping, lots of packing, taking the dog to my parents....
In my next life, I'm coming back as the dad, who goes to work the day before vacation, comes home, packs his own stuff, and says "OK, I'm ready to go". Meanwhile the mom has been packing two kids and all of the general stuff for the family and still hasn't opened her closet door! After 17 years, we know our roles pretty well I guess.

Thanks for the hugs for the little one. The antibiotic is starting to work - a little slowly though. She still has some bad throat pain and HUGE tonsils.

Just saw this post... don't know if you are online on vacation... but OMG, my DH and I are the same, lol. Hope your DD is feeling better by now.... ITSAKADOOZIE bars work wonders on sore throats and hot days!

Our countdown has gone from days to hours to minutes. We're at the airport waiting to board. 50 minutes till scheduled takeoff. Luckily Sea-Tac has free wifi. Here is the plane that will take us to the happiest place on earth.

We've had such a cold Spring and we are finally getting some 70 degree weather (with clouds ). Our high temps are the same as Orlando's low temps!

I'm sooo excited! Tommorow is the wedding day and then we leave at 2am for our Disneymoon! (first time using banana man!) I've only got a few more things to sort out for the wedding and then the rehearsal dinner is at 5:30pm. Ack! Where did the time go? It feels like just yesterday I started planning this wedding and our honeymoon. Now its almost here! Hope everybody who has come back had a blast and I cant wait to start my TP and Dining Review when I get back. It will give me something to re-live the disney magic

Lots of us leaving today! The van has been shined up and it's full of fuel ($3.41/gal!). Everything is packed and ready to go. Now we're waiting for DH to get home from his half day of work and we're off!

To everyone who has left over the past couple of days or today, have a magical trip!!!

Kitty lady, I'm so sorry about your dd's headaches! It sounds awful. I've been getting concerned about Sophie. She gets them 2-3 times per week. I'm wondering if her's may be exertion, however. She hasn't had gymnastics this week, and there's been no headache! Interesting! I hope your dd's new medication helps, especially in Florida.

Listen to our crazy Chicago weather. On Wednesday, our themostat clocked 102. Yesterday, the high was 54!!! Ugh! I went jogging this mornng and I could see my breath!!! Crazy!!!! I don't know if that had something to do with me being hot, or what. It was probably in the mid 50's.

This weekend, we hav a street Fest at my kids' school. On Sunday I'm taking my boys to the zoo (Sophie has a bday party to go to) and the Wild Kratts are going to be there (from PBS kids). Trying to keep busy!!!
