I know Abby's mom knew that Henry was the son she gave up, you could tell by the way she looked at Mrs. Dunn in the flashback. But I don't believe the Sheriff knew or he would have told Abby when she first learned Wakefield had a child, at least IMO.
Did Henry ever say if he killed his parents, the Dunns? How much older was Henry than Abby, does anyone know?
You bring up the questions I have. We all assumed we would find out what happened to Henry and JD's parents, but we didn't. Did Henry kill them? How old was Henry when they died? I thought he was a teenager, and JD was much younger, but the scene where his parents came to pick him up with JD, he only looked like he was a year or two younger then Henry.
Also, the scene where Abby's mom was looking at Henry and then at his mother, you could tell she regretted giving him up, or that she at least had a mother's love for him. So, when his parents died, why wouldn't she have moved the earth to welcome him intot the family? She could of used the excuse of how close he and Abby were, that he was already a part of the family. We know Uncle Marty took JD in, was Henry in college?
So, did Abby's mom give birth to Henry before she met Abby's dad? She must have, so why did the writers have them so close in age? Henry can't be more than a year or two older than Abby.
It's almost like they hadn't decided WHO the killer would be, and just chose Henry along the way.
OH OH!!! ETA... I thought the most ridiculous part of the show was Trish changing into her wedding dress. I knew the minute she did that, she would be a target, having to run away in a wedding gown. The minute Henry locked her in, she should of been ripping herself out of that dress and putting her sweatpants and running shoes on.
