I'll be there for the first one. It better be good or I won't be back. Then again... maybe I'll DVR it and see if it makes it till the end to of the season. I hate it when I start watching something and it gets cancelled before the end.

I'm a little sad about ER ending. But I really didn't find the promos for Southland interesting. I'm sort of tired of shows about cops and doctors. Harper's Island will be a change. I read about the show months ago in Entertainment Weekly and I like the idea of the show right away.

I also hate when they cancel new shows after only a few episodes. So, I usually don't watch new ones right away and let them build up on my DVR until I know if the show is safe. We just started watching Fringe since it appears to be coming back next year (great show btw!). I think with Harper's Island being a limited run series though that all the episodes will get shown in some capacity so I am willing to watch this one from the beginning.

I was falling asleep during CSI, so I set ti to record. I will watch it later. I hope it's as good as the hype.

I was kind of disappointed with it. The storyline reminded me a little too much of at least 1 million other horror movies I've seen that involve a hotel in a remote location that is difficult to enter or exit, but the stars have shown up at the end of the busy season so the victims have the place all to themselves! Won't that be great! Seriously. I have seen this already.

As my wife and I were watching I pretty much predicted everything that happened and she got annoyed with me. I can't help it that this is just a hodgepodge of recycled characters and plotlines that have been used dozens of times in other movies.

That said, I'm going to give it another shot next week to see if it improves.

I too was sort of disappointed with the pilot. But a lot of shows have weak pilots. I think the show could improve over the next few weeks because more backstory will come out on the characters and John Wakefield.

Quiksilver, I was disappointed too. I was hoping for more suspense/MUCH less gratuitous violence.

I just can't believe they killed off Harry Hamlin in the first episode! I love Harry Hamlin.
