The *Official* February 2011 Thread - Happy Dance Time...The Park Hours Are Out!

Ugh, I woke up this a.m. with a horrible muscle spasm in my shoulder, where I can't turn my head or even move much without severe pain. It happens to me periodically. I was laid up all day and all I could think was -- What if this happens when I'm at WDW!?!??!

Let's see... I think 18 days for me??

DS today said he can't wait to go. He still think we're going in May. ;)

Hey were back! We had to move our trip up by a week because Rachel's doctor want to see her this week before her MRI on the 14th. We had a blast!!! :)

The parks weren't too bad. They were baiscally empty until 11am - so we went to hotel, took naps, ect and by the time we got back by 3/4pm the parks were empty again. :) It worked out perfectly for us. We didn't wait more then 10 minutes for anything (ride, food, ect). Ect for the fairys at the Magic Kingdom. Waited 45 minutes for them because my son really wanted to see Tinkerbell.

Oh I do also want to say that Disney was great with working with us. Although the first cast member my husband spoke to said that there were no value resorts available when he called about moving the trip up. I called back and explained the situation and the second cast member was able to get us at the Pop Century with a 1st floor preferred room. Then she was even able to move all of our ADR's expect for one (which I can't even remember which one it was). Then when we got there she called me to make sure that everything was exactly how we needed it.

So glad you had a good time and were able to adjust your trip!!! Are you going to do a trip report? And that's helpful info about the crowds. Half of our ADR's are for lunch so that breaks up the afternoon nicely.

I'm sorry but I've got to do the single digit dance (I wish I had a tune to hum to it!).

:banana:9 :cool1: 9 :dance3:9 :yay:9 more days!!!!

PS I know my ticker says 10 but we're leaving on the 16th, and for some reason mickeypath says 10 days (I don't count the day we're leaving, I think they do!).

I share your excitement suorkaterina! We're looking forward to this trip NO CHILDREN first time ever! Ya'll have a safe trip and yeah the weather is looking pretty great!

This has probably been asked but I can't find it.

I believe there is a Hess gas station or some other gas station outside of Downtown Disney. Does anyone know anything about this? Can you walk to it from DD?

My husband and bro want to get a case of beer and trying to figure out the best way to do this.

We won't have a vehicle.

Ideas?

Thanks!

I'm here now and a few days ago we walked to the Hess station from DTD. Take the bus to the Pleasure Island stop and it will be right across the street -- can't miss it. There's sidewalks and a crosswalk at the intersection and everything -- it was pretty easy to do.

Good morning everybody what a wonderful weekend, finished my Seaworld album at my scrapbooking weekend. Now I must focus focus focus on getting ready for DWD, we leave on Saturday. This week is so busy with kids stuff that I know it's going to fly by. Kids are hungry guess I better get off the computer and get them breakfast.

Quick question:

Does Disney have a shuttle to Sea World?

Just finished looking at all my Sea world pics and I need a SeaWorld fix.:lmao:

WOW! Do you paper scrap or digi scrap? I digi scrap, and this weekend I was able to do 12 pages. In between chasing after my one year old! lol

OMG 64 pages??!! I haven't even done close to that in my whole scrapbooking life!!!

I'm slowly collecting supplies for my Disney scrapbook. I do paper scrap because to me that's all the fun! I got a Cricut for Christmas and I'm keeping my eyes out for some Disney cartriges :)

I'm almost done packing! We leave Wednesday to drive to Toronto and we fly out from there on Thursday morning :yay::yay:

6 Days!! :dance3:

Got all my errands done this weekend, pertaining to the trip.

Gina - i am totally usless at work this week, and I am by myself for most of it. (darn person I work with taking time off before me and making me work:rotfl:)

I think the dogs suspect something. They were really whiny yesterday when I was putting stuff together. Atleast I dont have to board them this time, DS said he would take care of them. Which in itself is a miracle.

I am trying to decide, if there is a bounceback offer, if I should just book the next trip while we are there.. I would have to sneak away and do it where DH does not see me...

I was thinking of doing a DCL trip next. Now that they sail out of Long Beach/Los Angeles, we can do one and not have to fly anywhere...
