The Official 2010 MNSSHP- Tips,Tricks and a few Treats !

Let me clarify that I have never been to MNSSHP but I was following someone's TR from September 2009 who went to MNSSHP and Pooh and crew were definitely dressed up - but just with funny 'ears' and tshirts - not huge costumes.

Ah, very interesting. Probably new last year because LTT closed and people really enjoyed starting the party there. Thanks. :)

But I still can answer your original question. When it was a party night, LTT characters would wear their 'costumes' (really eye masks), starting at the dinner hours...so 3:15p till closing. :thumbsup2

Should be the same for Crystal Palace. Have fun!

We did dinner at CP last year on a MNSSHP night (ressies were at 6:10) and the characters were not dressed up, we did one of the first parties in Sept so they may have modified it later.

The pooh characters do not dress up at Crystal Palace, but they do dress up for their meet and greet in the park. They'll start appearing in their holloween costumes at 7:00p.

That is what I thought. It would be nice, though, to have them dress up at CP too especially since they no longer have LTT characters.

i am still desperately trying to get a ressie at CP for 9/28, the night we go to our party! i think it would be a great way to get the party started!

Unless this is something new, I do not believe they dress up in costumes for MNSSHP. It would be so cool if it's true though.

The characters at LTT used to wear costumes for MNSSHP before they go rid of the characters at dinner. :(

Dinner hours at CP are 3:15p to 6:00p per the disney.com website.

I know that the characters aren't at LTT anymore.... but any idea if the waitress still dress like the gals at the Haunted Mansion?

I may have seen this asked but not answered. We are going on Halloween night. What are the lines usually like for the characters? And when is the best time to start doing those later in the evening or early?

I read somewhere on the DIS the possibility of not letting people in until 7pm where in past years you could get in with your MNSSHP tickets at 4, does anyone have any solid information on this?

Check on the dining part of the board, a lot of Diser's post any cancellations and you might be able to grab one close to your requested time.

My initial thought was yes, but I'm not positive because they would have to do more to redo the show. I've been looking for the answer and will report something as soon as I know.
I'm definitely looking forward to an answer when you have one. I was (partially) joking that Facilier should replace Frollo but I certainly didn't expect it to happen. I'm pretty sure I'll explode with glee if that happens.

As far as I remember when I booked my tickets the information I got said that you'd get a wrist band to go in at 4

Just read 24 pages of posts and didn't see this come up yet. What type of candy is given out for TOTers? Just wondering, I "think" that Nestle is an "official sponsor" of WDW so was wondering if it is Nestle chocolate or other stuff.

By the way, going to my first MNSSHP on 9/28. I can't wait.

How did you manage to get so much chocolate? I have been to two parties and each time only got a few candy bars. Last year we didn't even get any licorice.

I had an idea that ended up working great 2 years ago. My boys- then nearly 4 and already 6- were total batman nuts.

We wore all-cotton batman PJs with their halloween batman capes/masks. They were so much cooler!

I am seriously considering having my third son, now almost 4, wear his Buzz PJs. They are are true buzz "costume", i.e., it is a replica of Buzz's space ranger suit and not just a picture of Buzz on it.

For those September parties, see if you can find a cheap pair of superhero or Disney PJs that are lightweight. Worked really well. Kids felt entirely dressed up but were not roasting.

Avonlady - that is such a cute pic of your daughter giving the thumbs up! Yay for candy! hehe.

I finally started working on our costumes and am getting so excited to go! Helps that the costumes are turning out really cute, too :D My fingers hurt from all those fun little needle pricks, but well worth it!
