Is it wrong or weird that I'm a big, hulking 45yo male and I'm totally pumped to be going to my first MNSSHP on 9/30? I guess that's why my wife says she's raising three kids when we really on have two!

Oh goodness no, my soon to be DH is jumping up and down for joy too, and he is 25.....we do not have any kids yet, but I still think I am raising one. Its all part of the fun though. Personally I have gone to WDW 10+ times, and it is his first time, I can not wait to see the joy on his face.

Not a thing wrong wth that my big, hulking, 32yo husband is way excited for 9/23 when we'll be there. And we don't even have kids. Just DH and myself (both 32 yo) and a good friend (24 yo). On top of that we'll be in costume.

Well that's good to know! This trip is just for the wife and I so we're really looking forward to it. I still say I enjoy WDW much more than my kids!

She's dressing up as Jessie so I can't wait to take her to the Woody and Jessie Dance party!!!!

Does anyone know if Mickey and Minnie are going to be dressed up in their costumes for the party and will they be available for pics?

First of all...thanks to everyone who posted pics and reports on the party! We leave in 29 days and we have tix for 3 nights.

To all of the other "adult kids" out there...DH and I are 37 and 33 respectively and we don't have kids and have a huge countdown at home! Can't wait for our turn to go to the party!!

Everyone gets a wristband. It's how CMs can quickly tell that you're a party guest and not a day guest

Not wrong or weird at all. You should see my hubby ! Even for MVMCP he was all decked out in Mickey Christmas attire. Heck he even owned DVC as a single guy, long before wife and kids. That's what is great about Disney as it lets you forget about big people life, if only for a little while and enjoy yourself, no matter how "big" you are, you can always be a kid at heart !

Hubby and I are actually making a quick short trip without the daughter so we can do the Halloween party since we have never done it. We have done the Christmas one several times, but never this one and we can't wait. Sadly, didn't want daughter to miss school, so she will have to wait until she older. Bad parents?? Nah, we are in our 40's and it's our 1st MNSSHP!

Thanks so much! I imagined so (because we got them during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party), but I was unsure because our tickets were the nice card ones instead of paper. Haha

My siblings and I are coming straight from school (in NY!) so we figured better get them mailed to us so we won't miss too much of the party heading to will call. I wonder how people will react at the airport (since we want to be in costume)

Are you guys going to change in the bathroom at MCO, or be in costume on the flight? I hope that won't cause any problems with security, either way

I fly in on October 22 and the first party I'm going to is Oct 24. I'm also going on the 26th and 28th I'm traveling alone

I rode Space Mtn twice last night, once at 11:30 pm.

Here's my album of MNSSHP photos - I grabbed pictures of the shirts, hats, pins, and other merchandise, and there are photos from fireworks and parades and other stuff too.

Had a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone who posted info leading up to the party.

you know whats really sad about this party, The fireworks.
Many of you may not realize it but being a halloween party vet
The highlight, outside of the headless horseman, that being the fireworks, has been scaled back dramatically among other things.. from 24 minutes down to now 11 whopping minutes, They have cut these fireworks to death.
WIth all this downsizing I think this year we are going to forgo this event. ITs not worth the price anymore.

It's not a map, but see the list below.

Also, here is a map of regular MK CHARACTERS, some of the language will be the same and may help you find the MNSSHP characters.

1. is cinderella's carriage only out during the party or can we see it before the party?
3. Can someone tell me what characters are there and where they are located?

1. Cindy's carriage does not get set up until about 6pm, they may open the area for pictures before the party starts if the area is set up.

Nope. I am with you there. Big, hulking. 37 yr here. No kids and the DW and are are doing the party twice. We are looking forward to the parade, FW's, and charaters. Only 2 days to go!!!
