Not to off from a 10:10.... I just don’t know if this make sense! Why do I stress so much about planning my AK days?!?!?

I am really excited for DLP! I went once before 20 years ago, so I’m really excited to go back.

You’ll have to suffer through a lots of Paris photos I’m sure before I get to the DLP part, but hopefully that’s ok and not to annoying.

I am fine with tons of Paris photos! I can't wait to see them all.

Going for the quickest/shortest update ever!

Today they opened F&W bookings for non AP or DVC members. So i called right at 7, they said it would be a 45 minute wait, it was shorter, which ended up being horrible since it was right as my kids got up (they chose today to sleep in!!?!?). Anyway i wanted to book the Tequila lunch for our adults only trip. But she couldn't book it and said it was not available any day, for all of F&W! She said it seemed odd, so to call back in a bit (assuming it wasn't loaded yet), she did handle linking my daughters BBB for our august trip, and making it for only 1 kid. I called back an hour later, same thing... UGH, she suggested calling back mid day. I called back around 11 (I GOT THE SAME WOMAN!) how embarrassing. Still nothing! Went about my day, called back again just now and finally bookable!

So we are all set for our Tequila lunch in October!

I also grabbed a Harmony Barber Shop hair cut for my girls for august... Not sure we will keep it, but now that this is all bookable online (like what took so long???). I snagged it and love that its all online now! So I can drop it with out a call!

Ok not the shortest update but you get the idea!

I don’t know how true that is but maybe that’s why they were struggling. I don’t know why they don’t just make those bookable online too ! Glad you got it in the end!

Hello all! We are back from our European adventure, and i should be cleaning and putting stuff away while the baby naps, becasue of course she came home and the next day had a fever, but i would much rather spend time on the DIS.

I will do a trip report for DLP, but i need to get the photos in order and think of a title.....which is proving a bit hard, so stay tuned for that later in the week. I have no good options for a title... none...

So a few quick updates kinda... We tried to upgrade out magic bands when we were away, but with no lucky i couldn't get it to load on a phone, and by the time we got home they were all sold out, i am hoping they restock soon! If not i will select colored bands so we don't all end up with gray...

So while on this latest trip both girls slept in, like 9am slept in, they are usually both up by 6:30 most days!! We missed rope drop BOTH days we were supposed to do it at DLP, so now i am worrying about my early morning plans in August. In someways its going to be so HOT so i feel like i need to force at least some early mornings. But i currently have 3 early mornings out of 6 days scheduled (plus the day we leave which is an ung-dly hour). So do i change it up, and get rid of some of the early mornings? I just am not sure...

I have the following scheduled for early mornings:
BBB - 8:30
EMM at MK (need to be there by 7:15?)
EMM at HS (need to be there by 7:15?)

I can try to move BBB later, I can skip the EMM but i wont be able to replace it with anything DAH just doesn't make sense there is no shot DD1 will make it passed 11, so it really isn't wroth the money to be pushing them around in a stroller while we take turns on rides... or maybe that sounds good... kidding, kinda.

Should i drop EMM from one or both parks, or force the early wake up those on days... decisions decisions.....

I plan on starting the TR Thursday so I better think of something by then! Options are the Americans have arrived and I am hangry.... both of which I hate....

Ugh so I’m thinking (secretly hoping). The late sleeping was also due to jet lag, and the fact that at 9pm it was still light out! I have a picture at 849 and it looks like 2pm! So maybe they won’t sleep that much at wdw?

Of course today they are both up early, baby at 5, and DD1 at 6! Where was this when I’m trying to make an 8am ripe drop girls! Granted I’m making it to work on time so I can’t really complain but I will anyway!

This like almost all my replies is being typed on my phone, so please excuse all the typos.

December trip, maybe. I have mentioned it here a few times but I am hoping to hope down for a long weekend in December a no pressure trip with the family that isn’t coming in August. So it will be a whatever we can do kinda thing.

Anyway I’m having a major problem selecting a resort. I want to keep it budget friendly, but I think the POP rooms will be to small for us (unless we end up just going me and DD1).

Anyone have any opinions on Coronado Springs?

Help a girl out, I also have a Disney springs hotel booked, so that an option and to be honest the cheapest by far!

I mean could the time change have been affecting the girls sleeping patterns? Just being tired from going all that way? I would probably keep BBB but maybe drop EMM? But I'm biased in that I don't really find EMM to be worth it when its so few rides. Definitely something that is up to personal preference!

We love Coronado Springs! It’s our favorite moderate by far so I may be biased lol. The pool is awesome and they just refurbed all the rooms.

I’ve never stayed at any of the Disney Springs resorts but I’ve been looking into a few of them recently and it seems like there’s good deals to be had. Which are you booked at? Mouse savers has discount codes on their websites for some of them too.

So this week I LOVE touring plans reservation finder! One of the things I was most upset about was we had Storybook dining booked for the 29th, and now that we are leaving before the sun is up on the 29th we have to miss this dinner..... i was bummed!

I set up a reservation finder on touring plans for this meal, and pretty much said anytime that week would work, figuring if i didn't like what i got i would drop it or move around my plans. I have gotten 3 alerts and didn't get any of the reservations when i tried to book them.

Today was my lucky day! I got one, for the 28th, it is not my ideal day by any means, and the time isn't ideal 4:25 (I really want a 5ish). but at this point beggars can not be choosers. If i can get my ideal day the 23rd or another day i may move things around. but the 28th isn't horrible and it may work for us so for now YAHOOOOO

I am thinking they may have been some of it, they have been up before 6am every day since we have been back! Granted we let them stay up a bit later on vacation, and in Europe it wasn't dark till after 9pm, so it was hard to get them to bed at a regular time... that could be it for sure. I do agree i think DAH is a way better deal, but i know DD1 wont stay up late enough to make it worth it. I also know she wants to do Mine Train and SDD more then once, so i figured this was my best option... maybe i keep 1 and cancel the other....

This is great to hear! IF its just me and DD1 we may end up in DS (she doesn't need a car seat for UBER any more so we could just UBER every where) but if DD2 comes I want to be on site for buses!

We are booked in October at the Doubletree, and i have a Hilton reserved for December, a few things come into play if DD2 and DH come and if we need a 2nd room for a 3rd adult, if we do we will end up at DS maybe? UGH i just don't know! For now they are all reserved...

I'm no help on the EMH as in all our years going we've never seen a morning one. None of us are morning people. With the young ones I'd be more inclined to let them sleep and not deal with grumpiness later over getting to EMH.

How many character meals is to many character meals?

UGH So we are 3 weeks from FP day and i am trying to plan out the final schedule and i think i have to many character meals... But DD told me her favorite part of DLP was meeting characters, and last WDW trip it is all she wanted to do. So how many character meals is to many?

I currently have:

Day 1 - Hollywood and Vine lunch - Mickey and Friends (trying to change to Disney JR Breakfast, no luck so far)
Day 1 - Akershus Dinner- Princess
Day 2 - Tusker House - Mickey and Friends
Day 4 - Bon Voyage Breakfast - Princess
Day 5 - CRT Lunch - Princess
Day 6 - Artist Point Dinner - Princess

So at a minimum one of the meals needs to go on our first park day.

4 Princess Meals seems like ALOT, i feel like i should at least drop either CRT or Akershus.... leaning towards Akershus because we have done it twice, and the characters are similar. We have CRT the day of BBB so i feel like it just makes sense to keep it. But i know DD will be sad because Belle is her favorite... But we can do Enchanted tales with Belle, and meet her in France... hopefully thats enough for her.

I am also thinking maybe I cancel Akershus and Tusker house, I have wanted to try Tusker house for a long time so thats why i have that scheduled. But if i cant move Hollywood and Vine to breakfast i could keep the lunch and just cancel Tusker house....

I know i am 100% over thinking the whole thing... but thats Disney planning for ya
