Welcome to the worlds briefest PTR!

I wasn't going to do one but the excitement for this trip is so overwhelming. We're just 20 days away from WDW and I've taken to not talking about it at work. Pretty much through the whole year I've been asked where I'm going on holiday this year and when I tell them I get the usual 'Really? Are you not bored with Disney yet?' You'd think these people would know me by now :rotfl:

Anyways, once again Me and James are headed to Disney. We hadn't planned on it this year but here we are at 20 days out lol.

This is us last year.

I'm Ruth and I've been a big fan of Disney since I was very young. The Little Mermaid is my all time fave Disney film (closely followed by Hercules, Mulan and the Lion King). I love Expedition Everest and Tower of Terror.

James is my husband, who is a rollercoaster junkie. Not a big fan of Disney films but is a big fan of Disney World.

We got engaged in Disneyland Paris in 2008 and married in WDW in the October of 2011. It's nice to go back to where we got married.

The Plan

Pretty much most of our plans are in place. We will drive up to Manchester on Sunday 22nd of September and will be staying the Radisson Blu hotel. We fly with Virgin the next morning. We've booked the V Lounge for that morning, we like being able to relax at our own pace.

Once we arrive in sunny old Orlando we'll head over to Art of Animation Resort. I'm unbelievably excited about stopping here. We will be in the Little Mermaid section (I'm pretty certain James isn't as thrilled as me about this ha ha)

Because we weren't actually planning on going this year we can only stay for 10 days rather than 14, but it's better than 0 days right?

We plan on doing all the Disney parks, Sea World and US/IOA.

ADRs have been sorted - Cinderella's Royal Table, Crystal Palace, Coral Reef, California Grill & Tusker House. Last year we walked up to most of the restaurants we ate at because we weren't overly fussy about what/where we ate. So for the rest of the time we'll probably do that again.

We also plan on doing MNSSHP and maybe Halloween Horror Nights at US. This is what we plan on wearing to the party.

Normally I leave the packing until the last minute but I'm THAT excited I've started lol

Well that's pretty much it for now...

I hope you and James have a wonderful time in Orlando! We went to Disney in April and then back to Orlando this past August for US, IOA, Seaworld, Busch Gardens Tampa, Typhoon Lagoon, and Aquatica! Both trips were great! No one even asks us where we are vacationing anymore, LOL! :)

I'm very impressed with your Ariel outfit!!!
We arrive just a few days before you leave - look forward to reading your reports :)

Thank you, I would love to be able to say I made the costume but that would be a shamless lie, lol. I had it made by someone who makes cosplay costumes. Your trip will soon be here!

Love the Ariel outfit! Looks like we are there the same time as you :)

Thank you, I've just caught up on your lovely PTR. I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by. :goodvibes

Following along. :)

Welcome and thank you! :)

After a bit of deliberating, I think it's pretty much certain we will be doing Halloween Horror Nights on Sunday 29th of Sept and MNSSHP on Friday 27th.

I'll probably be booking MNSSHP later when DH gets home from work.

In other trip related news, our Photopass+ voucher arrived in the post the other day, that was exactly the pick up I needed after a bad day at work. Good times. :cheer2:

Have a great holiday not long now :cheer2:

Thank you :goodvibes x

I'm so excited. Yesterday was my last day at what has been a most frustrating/hellish/stressful week at work. lol. The excited kinda sick feeling has increased.

Just got to pack, print off relevant paper work and we're good to go. DH has just set Sky up to record various programmes. (Especially Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which we are both looking forward to watching!)
