I'm leaving for the airport in about 45 minutes (yay for only living 15 minutes away from it!) and I'm all ready to go, so I thought I'd pop in one more time! I hope everyone has a great week, as I know I will.

Hi Everyone!!!

I'm back home and just ordered my Photopass CD. I will be starting my TR very soon, maybe even today, since I won't need the PP pics until Day 2. The trip had some hiccups, but the biggest one was as soon as I got home. I walked into the house last night and was told I had been fired from my job while gone. So I spent a good amount of money on vacation and came back to no longer having a job. I will get more into it in the beginning of my TR, but I'm now looking for a job. But at least I'll have more time to do my TR until I find one!

As I said on Facebook, I think that it was very inconsiderate of your boss to fire you when you got back from vacation. You know good and well that he had these thoughts before you left. He could have at least let you know so that you could have decided whether or not to go on the trip or save the money.

As I said on FB, that really stinks about the job. I really think you should start looking at something in Florida since you want to move there anywhere.

I agree Lisa. The client complaint he tried to use as an excuse to begin with happened while I was gone, but he knew for months about the money issue. I definitely wouldn't have gone on the vacation if I knew I wouldn't have a job when I got back!

I am looking some for Florida, but I don't really have the money to move right now. Since I have a large dog and 4 cats I can't get an apartment, I need a house and that requires more money in moving. Still applied for a few already and if I get one I will figure something out, but trying for ones here too for now.

Ugh!! Sorry I never arranged a meet up - honestly my kids as awesome as they are we're somewhat unpredictable - I was going to text you on the 13th (HS was insane so we did a 2nd party) but Olive was feeling err should we say independent! (The 34" maniac running up and down the boardwalk of frontier land was her!!!) I tried to look around for you while we were stationary but didn't see you : /

And honestly - what a crappy boss. Seriously- waiting until you were away??? So disrespectful. On thoughts of moving to FL - it may be a good idea if you can. Have you thought of Craigslist for a rental? I know when we sell and are renting in the transition we will go that route because of our pets as well. Good luck and I'm sure whatever you figure out will turn out for the better!

It's okay, I know with 2 young kids you were busy and not able to keep solid plans. And I'm glad you did a 2nd MNSSHP, I heard of people on the bus to DHS for 3+ hours trying to get to the Villains party, and the AC had to be turned off to keep the bus from overheating.

I'm looking at a short term rental if I do get a job in Florida. I do agree that it is the best time to move since I don't really want to have to quit a job after only a few months to move. Though if I get a job at a chain place I could start up here then transfer to a location down there, which I am looking into as well. Yes,and if your buying steady employment helps. DHs job is national so we have the ability to transfer anywhere in the US when there is available openings... It does help, also keep in mind they may want to see 3-6 months of employment at a chain before a transfer. Good luck and I hope everything falls into place quickly and easily :
