Well, I priced out a room upgrade to my existing res at CR, and it would be almost $800 more than my current res (garden wing), so I guess I will just keep the one I already have booked. I was so hoping for a good deal so I could upgrade to a tower room, but if I want to get MNSSHP tickets, I have to save $ somewhere. Bummer.

Woohoo just got the room only for September. Did split stay between wilderness lodge and boardwalk. Celebrating our anniversary and my big 4-oh. First time @ both resorts. Can't wait.

Is there such a thing as Disney Hold Music purgatory? Because I was keying in my res# and phone # at 6:59 and I got unceremoniously dumped into hold music. I've been here for 1:04:03 at the moment and I wonder if I'm actually in the hold queue.

Im really getting worried that my preferred choices will be totally booked. Maybe they are booked by people "holding" them hoping for a certain discount? Really wanting YC or BC but all booked for my week

It says they are booked when I choose free dining but not when I choose room only. (YC is totally booked either way though) Does that just mean the # of rooms allotted for FD has been filled? We really want an RO discount for that time. The Free Dining just isn't our thing.

I'm in the October "dead zone" and hoping for some discount still, BUT thinking of changing my existing package a bit in hopes of triggering a PIN offer. I originally wanted to book a RO for our extended family's trip (4 rooms total, 3Pop and 1GF) and wait and see about FD.

BUT when my 180 came up and all 12 of us want to eat at CRT, I thought I'd save a ton of current charges by adding the dining plan to my reservation and I was able to just make the reservation under the DP, no full payment necessary (saved me a $600+ cc charge). NOW I'm wondering 2 things:

1) do you think it might trigger some kind of offer if I adjust my package down for the following - remove DP, remove MM(another family member also ordered it and we can all just link together), reduce days on my park tix (won't be able to use parks on our travel days, but currently have tix for that long)??
2) since ADRs are not exactly attached to your vacation pkg, do you think I need to do anything to my CRT reservation? Wondering if the system would know I had no dining plan any more and no payment on file for the meal either

our TA said she booked Wilderness Lodge. I need/must keep this at $5k for the 5 of us including. Ugggh, she hasn't told any other details. hoping we get a good deal. I thought this hotel was super expensive. anyone know details? I think she did sometime in the 1st two weeks of NOV but we're only staying 1 week. any help/thoughts? TIA!

According to the terms and conditions of purchase, Memory Maker is nonrefundable. PINs are random. I wouldn't be worried about trying to trigger one. What are your dates?

Free dining doesn't start until 10/26 so that's why you aren't pulling anything up with it. It will just tell you nothing is available since you're ineligible with your check in.

I know. When I go on the website I put an arrival date of the 26th just to see what's available and that's what comes up.

Just put those dates in and get lots of options. The website hasn't worked for everyone. I'd try calling if you can.

Oh fudge! I bought it knowing we'd want it for our group & may have dismissed the "non refundable" warning from my mind. but when the grandparents decided to join the trip and said they'd buy MM for everyone, I gladly accepted without thinking of looking up terms. . . I'll just have to eat the cost so grandpa doesn't feel his gesture was wasted (& DH doesn't scold me for not checking)
