--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cast
Me - worrier, florida lover, credit card spender and a big kid!
DH - credit card payer, non-worrier, level head!
DS - 14yrs old, teenager with attitude! loves sport!
Fri 2 June
Got up this morning at 2am, got the final things ready and set off for Manchester airport and car park. Turn off for car park was closed off for roadworks but sat nav re-routed us! We were first at the Virgin check in desk and got sat together (phew!) row 56 D,E,F. Waited in departure lounge for flight to be called. We boarded (plane was english rose) and found our seats were in a row of 4, I was sat next to a lady whose hubby and 2 kids were sat in the row of 3 beside us which we thought was silly as they could have all been sat together on our row and us on theirs, but it didnt matter really. The flight took off on time and shortly after we had lunch served which was sausage and mash, roast chicken or veggie option. I had sausage and mash (yum!) DH and DS had chicken which they said was nice. A while later they came round with choc ices then about an hour before landing we got a sandwich egg mayo or chicken. It was a bit bumpy coming in to land I was glad to get off!

We followed the tip to go to the nearest queue to US citizens at immigration and hey presto! got through fairly quick. Got luggage, left luggage, went to main building and got luggage again!! We had a Mears shuttle to take us to our hotel and we arrived at the hotel, got our room and were unpacked by 4pm!! We decided to have an hour or so chill out as we were all shattered because of the early morning and journey and then we would go to Pizza Hut for tea and have a little wander and a game of crazy golf at Pirates Cove. This never happened as we all fell asleep and slept until early hours of the morning!!!
