The nicest thing happened to me today!

Today at Barnes and Nobles an elderly man in a wheelchair said to me "Young lady, would you please smile at me?" So I did and he said " Ha! Just like I thought! You have a beautiful smile, you really should do it more often!"


I cant tell you how much that did for my self esteem today! We chatted for a little while and I learned that they had just moved here as well. He was from Chicago and they had celebrated Christmas with their whole family and had a wonderful time.

I thanked him for the compliment but I dont think he will ever know how much it meant to me!
