i feel like i haven't posted in ages! i had a post typed out yesterday and thought that i posted it, but i guess i was wrong!! oh well...

moving day's looming ever closer...

so who else is going to DISCON? i wish that we could go this year...there are so many interesting characters that i have met online and would like to meet in person! oh well...i did sign up to have a DISCON buddy though...so if you see tammyh-oregon, be sure to tell her hello...she's my buddy! i think that she's using some form of Dumbo to represent me so have her take a picture with any of you and Dumbo to send to me!! i think that afterwards, she's going to send me some kind of "care package" with misc stuff from the week...so even though i won't be there in person, i'll at least be there "in spirit"...

it's very nice to "meet" you george! we've never met in person, but maybe we will someday!! that's wonderful news about teri's dad...still sending prayers and pixie dust your way!!

well debbie, i guess those of us not going will just have to have our own non DISCON party! on the boards, of course!!

i almost wish that DISCON wasn't so close to christmas...it makes it difficult for my hubby to take time off of work. they do blackouts and this year, they've blacked out anything from mid october to january...and plus with christmas expenses...it's just so gosh darned hard to get away!! oh well...i think that i'm going to open a savings account for us right after the holidays and start putting money into that for a trip next year...at least then i won't be taking money from my christmas fund!!

Hi Friends,

How are you all? We are all much better as each day passes.

Dad is still doing fine off of the respirator (ventilator). Thanks again for all of the kindness shown to us. and of course all of the prayers....

The odds were so against him, that I feel it had to be the hand of God that pulled him through. My mother's faith never waivered this whole time....She is so strong...

Well, it looks like you guys have been having great fun here!!!
