Good evening everyone....
and HELLO Bob! I was thinking about you this afternoon. I was even going to start a thread about it, but then the whole CB would know how strangely my mind works lately.........anyway, I was driving down the highway going to DD's soccer game. Not extremely heavy traffic going south on 93 from Concord at 3 PM, but a fair amount on this 2 lane section of highway. So I end up stuck in the slow lane behind this smallish size open truck (flatbed I guess?). Well, strapped on the back of this truck are 3 or 4 Porta-potties. So I'm trying to get into the passing lane but I can't for awhile, because of a bunch of dingbats going not much faster than the truck. And I don't know why, as I'm driving along contemplating these porta-potties dead ahead, all sorts of thoughts start running through my mind. I wonder if those things are empty? wouldn't it be awful if they got loose? I really want to get around this thing! What if this truck got in an accident and they fell off? what if I ran into him? And I'm driving along laughing out loud and I'm thinking....I need to get AWAY from this truck, or I'm going to end up with a SideshowBob-type of tale to tell on the CB.
Sorry to bore you all with that tale of nuthin' but I laughed for at least 20 minutes even after finally passing the truck, with visions of a SideshowBob tale of a porta-potty accident....even though nothing even happened, it just seemed like such a SSB type of situation waiting to happen. LOL
OK, back to your regularly scheduled banter.
