Yay, congrats! Sorry about the sunnysde up-back labor stinks.
But I am sure it was all worth it. Love the "Sweet Baby James" that's what I call my DH. LOL

Been thinking of you, TOV! So glad all went well, and may God bless you, your DH and Sweet Baby James. Rest when he sleeps!!!!
Way to go -- my first was 7 lbs. - he was a month premature and had a terrible time latching on. I perservered with the bfing but eventually supplemented with a bottle. My other two I bf for a few weeks and went to bottle. If bfing doesn't work out don't feel guilty. YOu will be fine and so will he!! Congrats again, love the name. It's a classic.

Well, Imagestation was giving me a hard time so I created a new online photo album for him at PhotoBucket.
I only uploaded a few because I wasn't sure if I'd like using it or if it would be easier or more difficult to use than imagestation.
Anyway....here he is...SweetBabyJames!
And here's DH with James shortly after delivery.
I don't think you can see it in the pic (not that we tried to get a photo of this anyway),but he's my very own personal carnival sideshow freak!
On his right hand on the pinky finger is an extra bit of flesh, almost like a finger that's hanging from a tag of skin less than an inch long. When my OB delivered him and noticed it, she did tell me about it (like I wasn't ever going to notice it!) and I think she expected me to kind of flip out over it. I was like "Oh..no big deal. We can get that fixed." and it doesn't bother me at all. We called and made an appt to have it 'looked at' by a plastic surgeon next week (Tues I think) and most likely, they'll just cut it off and bandage his finger up. He's also been a bit jaundicey, but it's not too bad and we're doing the only thing his pediatrician told us to do which is feed him often and keep the blinds open to expose him to as much sunlight as possible. If he ends up getting light therapy later,well, I'll deal with that when it comes time. I kind of expected a bit of jaundice though, considering I myself went through light therapy at birth due to extreme jaundice. *shrug*
