The NEW WL FAQ (Part 5) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

Thanks for the answers.

I've been reading the messages in this forum for the past month, before starting to post messages. I must say the WL forum people are amazing!:goodvibes

I must admit I didn't know that renting DVC points would be so much cheaper.

Unfortunately MouseSavers site isn't a help for me, as the discounts are good only for US citizens. (AAA membership is of course restricted to US citizens as well).

I've been to WDW twice before, but this time I want to stay on-site. And since there will be 8 of us :grouphug: (including 2 little ones), a 2 BR villa, sounds like a great idea.

We're planning to stay at WDW for 5 days (meaning check-in on Sunday noon, and check-out on Friday morning).

Anyway thanks for all the information. But still, making a reservation, even 6 months before the trip, is a bit risky. But I guess no risk = no fun.:rolleyes2

We are planning a trip in Feb06 and thinking of WL. Can anyone tell me about Concierge? Like what kind of food is offered and what hours are they open? Also, what are the other advantages besides food?

Thank you.

Majestic, GREAT INFORMATION SITE!

My wife and I will be spending our Christmas holiday (Dec. 17-23) and 27th aniversary at the WL. This will be our first time a WDW without the daughter since our honeymoon. We have a courtyard room. At this time of the year would you request a lobby view room, upgrade to Conceige, or would you just roll the dice and take the room they assign you? Your insight is needed here. Thank you for your help. :confused3

Let's try again. :goodvibes

Small heads up WL nuts... Cingular has "The Magnificent Seven" ringtone...which is played on the Lobby music...just incase you want your phone to remind you of being at the Lodge!

Christmas WL shirt for the WL fans! Hope you like what I made!

There is great information on this thread about everything WL! Try doing a search this thread on concierge. I didn't stay concierge, but there are plenty of people who have and have posted about it! Good luck!

Concierge info? Anyone? Anyone?

When we were there in FEB, it was a light breakfast, rolls, dry cereal, sweet rolls, coffe, tea, juice

then snacks until midday and light sandwiches or PBJ custables and some fruit coffe, tea, juice, soda

evening, had hot appitezers, meatballs, and such

then nightly cordials and crakers/cheese

this is not a full listing-- but its changed slightly since the opening of the new club area--- so go back to around page 99/100 of this thread and read some of the newer posts about the new lounge.

there are two plasma tv's and couch areas as well

triplefigs-- I love the pic, I am going to transfer it to my canvas tote for school, the kids will love it too!!!

Terry and I are off on our first cruise, meeting Laura & Marco tomorrow A.M. The tropics are looking good, not worried about any big blows. Should be back around the 15th with photo's and tales of the "High Sea Adventures." pirate:

Will be at the Lodge next week-end can't wait to eat at Artist Point.

I have another tshirt design. I modified it from MidNite's. It says Home is where the (and here is have a heart shaped picture of WL) is. It has the Mickey ears that MidNite did. I can't post it as i don't know how, :confused3 but i would be willing to send it off to anyone who wants it. I can also modify it with your name if you want. I will be proudly wearing it when I am at the WL from 9/5 to 9/11.  I can't wait.

:teeth: Hi everyone, just been!

We stayed in room 4000 where you have views of the lake, gieser, boat dock and the beach. We had two balconies,One big one in the main sitting room, and a little one in the bedroom. From the one in the bedroom you could watch wishes !!It was spectacular !! (but not the same without the commentry)
We went to the "Whispering Canyon Cafe". It is very wild and good for your kids! If there is a birthday in your party and are planning to go for an evening meal on that night, Then I warn you now, They make you run around the lobby singing Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!
We had an exelent time at WL !!!
If anyone wants to ask me anything, They are more than welcome.

Does the boat go straight from WL to Contemporary or does it have to make other stops?
