Anyway! If there are 3 adults in a room would a rollaway be an option? Anyone know the addtional adult guest cost and the rollaway fee per day?

They don't make you climb up 7 flights of stairs, you will take the elevator up to the 7th floor then you take the steps to the roof.

Ohhhh I thought I read somewhere that there were like 150 stairs to climb!!! This is really great to know!! Thank you!

Of course there are several steps from the 7th to the roof but Ranger Stan does it all the time and he does have some knee problems. Of course, his heart is bigger than his knee problems!!

Does the blue flag boat run until 10pm in slow season? I wasn't sure if it runs all year until that time. I wanted to make ADR's for the California Grill and was trying to figure out what the latest time would be so that we could take the boat from the CR back to the WL.

I have done it! It really isn't bad, maybe the best description is kinda of loosely based on attic pull down stairs.... imagine that but made out of logs. I really can't imagine it being more than 20. I did not count but it is one flight of those and then another flight to the roof!

I willl look and post a picture for you! I have both flights I believe.

I have the same view booked for our upcoming trip. I don't think the bunkbed rooms are in one location, they are spread out. I called yesterday to request an inner courtyard facing bay lake, that way if I get my request, it will be a view of the pool and of bay lake. I read on this site that you should say "facing bay lake" not "view of bay lake. HTH!

We have the same courtyard view with bunk beds...Who do you call and when. We are under 30 days to our vacation and would realy like to have an inner courtyard view, maybe even a bear face room.

I just called Disney Travel at 800-828-0228 and told them I would like to put a room request in and the cm typed in exactly what I had told her, of course there is no guarantee but what I understand is that our ressies will go to the resort about 3-5 days before our arrival and a room assigner will assign all the rooms at that time, if you have a request in they will try their best to get what you requested within reason.

We booked through AAA, is it still possible to request a certain area for our room assignment? Do we have the agent at AAA do it for us?

We already requested joining rooms as it will be myself, DH 3 kids and my mom and dad, so we split the kids 2 with us and 2 with my parents, with the request of rooms with connecting doors inside. We have woods view. what are the chances of getting a view of the fireworks without putting in any kind of request for it? Also, I will be 31 weeks pregnant, is there a better place to have our rooms so we are closest to the lobby or transportation and whatnot...

We aren't going until december, so it still seems so far away, but I have so many questions that keep popping up in my head, lol

I just wanna say ITS ALMOST TIME TO PACK!!!. I am just soooo excited, and its just going to get worse as it gets closer. . My DS's and I watched Animal Kingdom Theme Park on the Travel network this morning and my DS turned to me and said "its so close" with a big smile on his face. He began to talk about why he chose the WL and now I am very happy that I stuck with his choice, especially since I wanted AKL and would not have been staying there anyway as it turns out. Anyone else get a burst of excitement today about their upcoming trip?

WooHoo! for us too! We leave exactly 2 weeks from today and will be checking into WL right about now!!! I need to start getting our things together and get the luggage out! So looking forward to our trip

Oops! got a little carried away, I thought today was Tuesday, I actually have 15 days, but who's counting I'm just a little excited!

We leave in less than 4 weeks, so we are among those doing the short timer happy dance.

Both boys are at Scout camp again this week and have another hiking trip the day after they come home....which means by the time their laundry gets down we will have less than 3 weeks..... Then the packing will begin in earnest. I'm soooo excited!

Not to long for us either!...I will be taking my DGSs for their first time there!....I picked the lodge because I thought they would like it...as they are really into the cowboy and indian thing...But I am really looking forward to this resort too!....

15 Days OMG I really have to get some work done around the house . Gotta scrub a tub or two before DH comes home and fiinds me DISing (been here all day but I can't help it.....I'M SOOO EXCITED .

I know this may of been posted before but does anyone have pictures of the new resort mugs? I know the mugs are the same in all the resorts, I can't wait to buy mine

Please tell me that I can still purchase a WL mug. I would like to have one for each of the resorts where we stay. I know the universal mug is nice but I want a wilderness lodge mug.
