What was the noise outside, trucks? What time of day? We have std room and DH is very sensitive to noise while he is sleeping. I've requested North tower floor 5 or 6 (sounds similar to where you were)

You could hear trucks beeping as they back up during the day but, the Horns on the boats taking people to MK go off every 20 mins. You may wont to stay in the south wing. We love hearing the boats

I've never been there yet, but have read the first few pages of this thread along with following it for the past 3 months or so and this is the first I've heard of them too. i think I'll be steering my kids away from there, too. Maybe I'll let them ring one the day we leave....

We are watching the Travel Channel Samatha Brown WL show almost daily now....we sit there and giggle thru it like a couple of 6 year olds...some nights I go to bed thinking "but I'm too excited to sleep" like the WDW commercial....

Not that we are looking forward to this trip on anything.

Yeah! Congrats! You know, I have not seen that show since we booked the WL. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it to be on the Travel Channel again so I can get my WL fix before we leave.

I dvr most everything the travel channeloffered except that one there is a great site that will show u show times so when i get home ill post the link right now im on an iphone so forgive my typing lol 53 days until wl!

I cant have a ticker because it is a surprise trip for my children. I have to wait until DECEMBER 9,2007.

But when that day arrives and the children know about it we will all be happy!!!!!

I guess I'm in the minority....I'm excited to be going but I'm not in a counting-down-the-days frame of mind. If anything, I get anxious as the date gets closer 'cause it reminds me of all the things that aren't done yet! I'm excited just knowing I'm returning in the fall! The day will come soon enough. I'm having a blast passing the time on the DIS and shopping for clothes and stuff at the online Disney Outlet!

Are any of the "Bear Face" rooms Bunk Bed Rooms??? We put in a room request for room in or around #6049 because that is where we stayed last time. We also thought it might be cool to try and get a "Bear Face" room. I'm not sure tho if we would like it. Are they only on the 5th and 6th floors??? I can't quite tell from the map.

According to this room map (and it IS hard to read), the Bear Face rooms start at the 4th floor:

I think it says..."Bear Face: floors 4 and up". Don't know whether they're bunk bed though.
