The NEW Week after Thanksgiving Crew Planning Thread! 11/28-12/5?

So, our esteemed leader from the last thread is sadly leaving us so I am willing to start the new thread - who will join me?

My family has kind of a weird stay, but in a good way! Our trip kind of took on a life of its own. We fly in on thanksgiving and are staying the night at ASMovies, then moving to BLT for two nights; go on a four night DCL cruise 11/28-12/2 and then staying at AKV from 12/2-12/6. We plan on doing MVMCP on 12/3. We might go to Universal for the day on 12/5 to see Harry Potter.

So whose joining me? I'll start the list!

We are stay from 11/28-12/4 at AKL. We have ADR booked. Need to upgrade our room only ressie to one day ticket with QSPD, but kinda wanting to see if FD will happen or get a PIN code for one. send some pixie dust this way please! It will save us more than our current 40% off.

Still have to book MVMCP and airline tickets.

So much to still do, but at least we have our dream resort booked!

I'm usually the one that hosts Thanksgiving dinner and since we plan on leaving on Friday, I am actually tweaking my Thanksgiving day menu to make it a little easier and plan on making Turkey salad subs for our dinner on the road.

Anyone else having dinner at their house before their trip?

Count us in, we will be at the World Nov. 27th - Dec. 4th. we are starting off at Pop (for a night) then on to BC DCL (for 3 nights) and finishing off at Poly TPV CL Have all of our ADR's now we just have to wait I don't think I can stand it.

We went on an Illuminations cruise with you a few years ago.

We will be back at Sports from November 28th thru December 12th this year.

I could not take all that packing and unpacking so we will be at ONE resort.

MamaJessie, we will be doing the QSDP and might have a turkey leg somewhere along the way but I no longer cook Thanksgiving dinner. I stopped the year that my sil sat through the whole meal complaining because he HAD to come. The grandkids are older now and so things have changed a bunch.

I think we will be celebrating in Clearwater with one of my sisters and checking out a place to possibly move to.

We're going to Clearwater before WDW too. DHs uncle lives there and we usually leave mid vacation to go visit but we decided this year to just stay overnight somewhere near Clearwater and visit him that first day. Know any good yet cheap hotels out that way?

I briefly considered Thanksgiving in Disney but since this is the first holiday since my mom passed I figured everyone would want the tradition more than usual. And my reward for all the cooking and cleaning is a week with Mickey

HEY! That was back in 2006! We were with my IL's - we are now with a kidlet of our own. How are you? You were kind enough to sent the cd's to us - thank you again. This trip, we are doing what you did last time - three separate resorts and one cruise - crazy I know!

Hello! Can I join you all? We are going on our first Disney trip. We are checking in on Nov 30, but since we are driving we will be leaving Nov 28. We will check out on the 9th...trying to push DH for just one more day, so I am hoping to change that till the 10th. I want to be able to add a day to just relax instead of going, going, going. Since this is our first trip I am looking for any info anyone wants to pass on!
