The New Tagliarchy! The Official Tag Fairy Fan Club!

Valentine's Day.. Hmm I think I will take DH to our Boy Scout Troop All you can eat pancake breakfast..Actually the whole family will be there as we all have to work the event.. DS#1 may get to cook some this year, DS#2 is going to be the Chicken that waves cars down and I normally collect money for a while and then bus tables..

This time of year is very intense for gift giving in our family.. our anniversary is 1/14, DH's B'day is 2/6 and the V day is 2/14, I am going to get him a digital camcorder to use on our cruise for b'day/V'day gift.. just trying to figure what kind without having to buy a SONY Viao computer along with it...:teeth:

Better be wearing several thermal layers in this lovely weather.

llebrekniT I am the master organizer. I am totally ALL packed and certainly ready to escape the snow. It's been snowing all day and is 5 degrees out. 65-70 will feel soooooooooo tropical.

Rick glad you are still hanging in there....we all wondered what the heck happened to you.

Small world, this is a bad time of year for us as far as buying gifts. It starts in Dec. DH's dads<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/24/24_2_133.gif' border=0></a> birthday, then <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/25_4_68.gif' border=0></a> and my favorite niece Deadheadbelle's little <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/25_4_57.gif' border=0></a>, then Christmas<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_2_81.gif' border=0></a>, my b-day<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/25/25_1_78.gif' border=0></a> is 10 days after Christmas, then my dad<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/24/24_6_76.gif' border=0></a> (today) and my dogs<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/24/24_2_133.gif' border=0></a>and

Just don't make me cook dinner tonight and I'll be happy. One month to the day after Valentines is <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/24/24_3_16.gif' border=0></a> b-day and 3 weeks to the day after his is <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/25_5_54.gif' border=0></a> b-day. Good afternoon, everyone!

WELCOME BACK RickinNYC!!! We have missed you very much!

Valentine's Day? I will probably get DH a couple of DVDs, nothing racy, more like the Grateful Dead-Closing of Winterland. I want the new Norah Jones CD that is coming out February 10th. I hope llebrekniT remembers to suggest it to him.

Have a great trip, Lewski709! I hope Tye sleeps well during the trip.

llebrekniT, love the Frodo smilie.

Been out shopping for some new family room furniture. Actually we set out for a new rocker recliner since my Lazy Boy is not 16 years old and is saying retire me!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/355.gif' border=0></a> Well, could not find one that I liked in the color I wanted that was comfortable and we got a new leather sofa and love seat instead. Well, we were going to get a reliner, but they came back and said the company does not make the one color I wanted. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_2_3.gif' border=0></a>

Busy day today, two basketball games for Daniel and cheerleading for Holly. Plus I'm fixing dinner for my parents tonight for my dad's birthday.

Ok, give this a try FPgurl04. I haven't seen the movie and don't know the content. Before I let my kids see any movie above PG I visit this site - www.kidsinmind.com - it's the best. It tells everything that is in the movie based on Sex, Violence, and Language. It's not explicit in detail, so you could visit it. I would suggest to your parents that the language thing is no biggie, you hear worse at school. (A statement that I'm betting is true) If its s-e-x, I have to ask you, is it on DVD? It's very easy to skip over a scene if so. Even if not since they have seen it already they could do like my parents used to do if it was a movie that was basically OK except for a scene or two. They would make us leave the room for a minute and call us back in when it was over. Violence, same thing. Now if it's the movie's overall content, you are probably out of luck on that one. Sometimes when you add all the above elements together, it is just better that you don't see it. Consider yourself lucky that your parents care enough to protect you from stuff you don't need to know about yet. Some movies are just ful of stuff that I wish I hadn't seen. Good luck!

Gotta run, game starts in 20 minutes and the girls are still in their beds!:earseek:

Good Morning, had to go into work real early, took the leftover Pizza with me. Sorry I missed your Birthday TeggersPal, I was busy watching Dave the Barbarian...Not worth it. I will still probably catch all of the eps, but it is too silly even for me. There were a couple of decent political statements though...We wanted a huge ending, but this series is done on the cheap, so everything works out well...this was how one of the first eps ended. Basic plot? none (worse than some Hedonistic movies I've seen...The 'rents are gone to save the world leaving Candy in charge. She is a teenager, more than capable, but doesn't care. Dave, her brother, tries to do good, but is just...well, I would say inept, but he can be quite capable; I would say dumb, but he likes books and reads poetry. I mean a Barbarian who knitts?...All in all he is a poorly thought out character. The uncle and Dragons are OK for this type of show, the best (only real reasonable for what this should be) is the youngest sister. she is quick on her feet, does what she wants to do, and likes to smash things. Even the villian is a Cute fluffy Piggy. The animation was also about what you would expect in the flintstones...A true tribute to Michael Ei$ners new policies...OK, had to rant, off of my soapbox...

:bounce:

Good Morning...Just got the boys up and dressed and breakfasted and out the door for a cub scout ski trip..
No, MOM doesn't get to go! If I did, no one would have clean clothes or picked up house or food for next week..etc.. Since I am on the road most of next week I need to have some meals that the boys can take out and heat.. so I will be shopping and cooking for the week too..or else all they will eat is mac n cheese and cheese pizza. and chocolate chip eggos..

Anyway I have made a nice hot breakfast for all..chocolate oatmeal, or strawberry oatmeal.. fresh bagels take either chocolate chip or strawbery with chocolate cream cheese or strawberry.., nice hot Chocolate with whipped cream..

Had a cub scout den meeting last night and then went scrapping last night, got a few pages done..but I got a chance to catch up on what is happening at school etc.. We are working on the Arrows of light.. the boys painted them last night and then in 2 weeks will decorate them..And then DS#2 will bridge to Boy Scouts..

Have a TAGGED day.. I'll check in later..

And What, might I ask, is wrong with these wonderful meals???

GOOD Morning everyone.

It's gray and rainy today, but should get close to 70 anyway. I overslept this morning, even though ohanafamily made sure the alarm clock was set for me before he left.

But all is right with the world. The plumber is here finishing up the the shower and sinks - he finished reinstalling the bathtub yesterday, the marble is completely installed, and workers are scheduled to be here all next week. :bounce: Can you tell I'm excited. Our bathroom is finally starting to LOOK like a bathroom again. :teeth:

Thanks for breakfast geffric. I'll try a little of everything.

. I need to fortify myself before I head up to finish all the "Save the Date" cards for MIL. She needs over 100, and they're all being cut and assembled by hand. I actually already cut all the layers and printed the vellum, it's assembly-city for me this weekend.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! May I pause a moment to

CLAP CLAP CLAP to our fairy, Goddess of the tag?

Ibouncetoo and I met some of my friends at Elephant bar for cocktails, and my voice feels like I'd been screaming all night last night! MAYBE? too many martini's? Nah, that can't be it. I received some lovely gifts, but the best gift was spending the night with my gal pals and my sister! Tonight the Hubby is taking me to Bambo Club, and I will receive my b'day gift from him! Cool...I will also buy some lovely dessert for my little TAG FAIRY!!! Something with chocolate?

Anyway, thanks again for the well wishes!!! OH, I got dressed and fit into a pair of pants two sizes smaller than I had been wearing!!! YIPEE!!!!!! 2004 is gonna ROCK!

Morning Everybody!
Thanks for the breakfast geffric

I see TiggersPal has checked in this morning....we survived the birthday celebration. I actually had TWO martinis (I know, doesn't actually qualify me for the hedonist club!) AND stayed up past my bedtime:hyper:

ohhh. Bamboo Club......orange Chicken, yummmy.
Pick a color, Peg, and hang out with this fun crowd. WARNING, if you don't check in very often, you can have pages and pages to catch up on!

Well, of to check in on the WISH thread...unfortunately no loss this week (hmmmm, small movie theater popcorn and martinis may have impacted that!).

Later, taglikins....
