The New Tagliarchy! The Official Tag Fairy Fan Club!

Add my DH to the list of Hamper-challenged. I blame it on DMIL who , like Lewski709, just had him throw the dirty clothes down the stairs. At the end of the day, they'd be folded on his bed. Anyway, we are working on it & DS-Josh is doing pretty well, if I do say so myself.

CLARIFICATION:
Ok, when I said down stairs.....I meant down stairs, where no one goes except to do laundry. Not from the second to the first floor. From the first to the basement, which is unfinished and used for nothing other than laundry and storage.

Clarification:
If I make it in the same room as the Hungry Hungry Hamper I am doing pretty darn good!

I've never been given a tag......am I still allowed to take part in this thread?

Yes Cadburysmom, of course you are! Anyone with a brand of chocolate in their name is most welcome. :teeth:

cadburysmom, Of course you are, Welcome, Join the moving party. I know the new home will be well worth the wait.....

Todays topic: Is your family Laundry Hamper Challenged?

Also, will the Dragons survive the Bubble Bath?

:bounce:

ohanafamily, ummmmm...now that the dragons are out of earshot, I'd like to ask a question. I hope I don't offend. But what kind of dragons are they anyway? Are they movie dragons or TV show dragons or Disney dragons? I just don't recognize their...ummmmm...species.

Sure, just keep picking on me. :snooty:

Deadheadbelle, you are a bad influence. I was going to rent "Lost in Translation" for tonight, but I ended up buying it. I really wanted to see it when it was in the theater but didn't get a chance. Rob has to take a principle out to dinner tonight, so I am going to make myself a nice steak, a sweet potato and a salad and get out the box of tissues. (Is it a tear jerker?)

And I may even have a glass of WINE with my dinner -- not WHINE! So how's that!?!?!? ;)

I cried, but I cry in everything. It's not a flat out tearjerker, but I thought it was very emotional (I don't think I am making sense) & I cried like a baby. I LOVE Bill Murray. He was so good & I hope he wins the Oscar. I haven't seen Mystic River, so I don't know about Sean Penn, but Bill Murray's performance was so subtle, it was perfect. Please don't hate me, Depplyinluv. I think I'll watch it again tonight. Let me know what you think!

Oh, Welcome the the TAGLIARCHY, cadburysmom!

I am reading through today's posts, but had to stop and comment...

HuggaBaloo and Lewski709 DH and I have been talking about moving to Orlando, too. I thought we were a little... crazy for wanting to move closer to WDW (that's not the only reason, but it IS a big plus!) but then I thought "why not? It IS our happy place, after all...". Just wanted to say good luck with your job seaches!

Back to cooking dinner (pork chops) and reading posts...

Today's Question:

What movie, if any, had you uncontrollably sobbing?

The first movie that comes to my mind is "Terms of Endearment". I cried when I first saw it (which was BC), but I recently watched it again, and I cried like I haven't cried in years. The hospital scene with Debra Winger and her son--when she says good-bye? :faint: I could just see the conversation taking place between myself and my 10 year old, Eric.

I also cry everytime I watch "Love Story".

I am not sure, but they came from around the Bacho Swamp. I sent you a PM about the adoption agency...

Balloo, Good Luck in your quest!!!!!

I'm so happy, I finally have a tag!!!

All hail the great TAG FAIRY

Thank you!!!!

Congrats DanaUK, I am not sure whether or not to ask, but how did you earn that tag?
;)

:bounce:

I replied to a thread about strange things that you do. I said that I can sit with the heal of my foot on my head!!

Congratulations, Danauk!

Good Question, Barb. The first movie that popped into my head (before I read your choice) was "Terms of Endearment". That movie just kills me. Another one for me is "Steel Magnolias". Especially the scene after the burial when Sally Field talks about holding her daughters hand when she left this world....OK, I'm getting teary just talking about it. As I said, I cry in everything. llebrekniT & I were just talking about this & we both cried in "Armageddon"! Yep, Armageddon. I also cried throughout Seabiscuit. I am a crying machine when I watch movies. The first movie I remember crying in was, don't laugh, "The Jazz Singer" (Neil Diamond version). I was at the movie theater bawling my eyes out. Oh, one more then I'll take a break...I cried so hard at the theater that I almost hyperventilated during "My Girl".....'Thomas J, get up...he needs his glasses, he can't see without his glasses.....'

OMG, I got a new tag, too!!! It was that darn Odd Traits thread that got me too! I have finger toes (DH's term). Holy Cow.

Thank you TAGFAIRY!!!!

Danauk, you go girl. BTW, I just got that--DanaUK. I was pronouncing it (in my head) dan-owk.

Another question:

Explain your dis name.

My name is Barbara. I have two Bichon Frises. (They do love each other--really!!)

Talking of movies that make me cry.... it's not a movie but a TV episode, I love the X-Files (hence the name Danauk - after the X-Files character Dana Skully and I live in thr UK!) I cried in the last ever episode of the x-files when Mulder and Skully were in the motel room and it was obvious of their feelings for one another.
I also cried at the end of Lord of the rings (and if eeyorewood reads this he will take the micky out of me endlessly as we were sitting next to oneanother in the cinema with our DH and DW complaining about the length of the film and when we would get to the restaurant to eat dinner!) But it was so sad when Frodo said goodbye to Sam and the hobbitts!
Needless to sat I cry quite easly at movies and the TV! :hyper:
