Yeah, I thought a chocolate buffet would get a few Taglicans' attention! I've only been on one cruise, on a 2-night round-trip from Port Everglades to Nassau in December 2000 with a small cruise line called Imperial Majesty. Our ship was a 1950s oceanliner called the OceanBreeze, now scrapped. It was kinda cool to cruise an older ship like that.

Anyway, we were in port in Nassau when the Disney Wonder pulled in right next to us. Enormous ship compared to ours! So I watched her dock, and when she stopped her horn sounded, and I just cracked up! It's too cute! I didn't know until then the Disney ships had that horn.

Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire! What happened in here yesterday? All it takes is a little bit of Bichon Barb and this place gets wild and crazy! I like how she walks into the room, starts something up and then goes on her way and isn't heard from for hours, sometimes days.

Cheeringmom, you do have a lot on your plate. I think I need a re-count on your kids, I didn't know you had two teenagers and for some reason I thought you were in the moms with one-year olds club with me, Deadheadbelle and Lewski709.

It's sooooo cold today.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_3_1.gif' border=0></a> 8 degrees, my van wouldn't start this morning, but as it turned out it was due to a door being left open just enough that the interior lights stayed on all night. I took Holly to school and DH said to leave it running for a while to make sure it gets fully charged.

Today is my dad's birthday, along with both my dogs. We have two pugs born 3 years apart, but they were both born on the same day! Isn't that freaky? Holly thinks we need to have a full-on party on their birthday. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/13/13_10_3.gif' border=0></a> Won't see dad until tomorrow, making dinner for him. I'm off to the store this morning to get the ingredients for a BBQ feast!

Good Morning, have a couple of Dr.s appointments today, both about allergies...

A certain green Dragon is very happy with his Wonka Bars...He told DW that he has already ordered more?!?

Oh well, gotta get dressed and scoot. There is plent of leftover Pizza in the fridge, help yourself. Oh, and Nephosaurus, we put the chocolate syrup up last night, so it is in the pantry...What is Loaded Pizza without Chocolate Syrup anyway???

FPGirl, I hope you get to watch your movie soon...

Morning everyone! Hope everyone had a good night and is staying warm...

I have to get a shower and then go out and pretend that I like doing PT (military gym time) outside in the freezing cold, on the wet ground! "Roll around like piggies in the mud! Suuuwwwweee!" LOL! Our Commander and First Sergeant are evil!

Oh, and a trick for those of you who must have reheated pizza...Put the pizza slice on a micro plate, cover it with a damp paper towel and then nuke it for however long until it gets warm. I swear! Tastes just like fresh!

Hi guys, I'm so sorry for not being in contact or visiting the board lately. Ohana Family sent me an intervention notice via email, thus bringing my absence to my attention. I thought that after the holidays, things would slow down. Well, I was sorely mistaken!

Since the holidays, I've been pulled into a committee formed by the OEM (Office of Emergency Management) to establish protocol in disaster relief management for NYC. Then I got pulled into another committee for volunteer management at VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster). THEN I got asked to speak at an operations conference next month in Chicago so I've been prepping for that. AND I've been put in charge of disaster relief/recovery for our own organization.

And all this has in addition to my regular job. AAAAaaaaaahhhh!!!

I love everything I've been doing but I barely have time to breath, let alone anything else.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel though. The bulk of what I've been doing will come to an end in about a month.

Anyway, enough with my piddling excuses. I'm sorry I've been out of touch. AND I apologize for not finishing my trip reports.

Hope you all will take me back into the fold.

And Ohana Family, as for Dallas, I still don't know when we're going but it looks like late March at this point. I'll let you know! Joe really, really, really wants to check out Gilley's Dallas so perhaps we can have a mini Dis meet there?

Ohanafamily, when I hear the word "bris", the first thing that comes to mind is the Seinfeld episode. Second, is the SNL skit which is supposed to be a car commercial. They are touting it's smooth ride. So smooth that they perform a bris in the back seat. LOL. That is a classic!

As far as all the remarks about my silliness, I RESEMBLE THAT REMARK! Actually, my life is pretty suburbian-WASPy-soccer-momish. So I like to at least have a wild and crazy cyberlife.

And I had such high hopes when I saw that Bichon Barb had been here. Come on girlfriend, a book, you brought us a book? You can do better than that!

I've been watching Moulin Rouge on VH1, which is kind of silly because I have it on DVD. But once I turned it on I couldn't turn it off. I have a little flip down flat screen TV in the kitchen and I had so much fun watching it and cooking up a storm! Everytime I watch that movie it renews itself as my favorite all-time movie. Speaking of Moulin Rouge AND movies, what happened to our new poll? CourtasanSatine and Deadheadbelle were in here talking about a new poll a few days ago and I haven't seen anything since. What's up girls?
