I don't know if anyone knows the answer to this or not, but I just had to ask. Does anyone know if the new pizzeria that is going in the Italy Pavilion will require ADRs once it is opened, or will it be a CS restaurant. I was telling my DH all about it while we were there last week and he said that he would love to try it out, then last night I was reading about it on another site and they had mentioned that it will be opened sometime early September. Since our next trip is from 9/9-9/16, I thought that if it is opened during then, we could go try it. So if anyone could help me out with this, I would be greatly appreciated :goodvibes

I am curious about this too. I know that the new CS restaurant at the Mexican pavillion will only be CS during the day. At night it will be a regular table service restaurant that takes ADR's. Which makes sense with all the lakeside seating for Illuminations...hopefully the menu will change for day (CS) and evening (TS). :goodvibes

I am interested about the new one in Italy though...havn't read much about it.

If it ends up being a Naples 45 then should definitely be a Table-Service restaurant....I too am trying to find out about ADR's.

I'm not sure how ture this is but I heard it was going to be a CS seating 300 people.

I'm so exicted for this! I want some *really* good pizza at Disney! The pizza there now (a la Pizza Planet) is good, but not a make-your-mouth-water slice o' pie!

Semi-off topic: How do they manage to make a restaurant both a CS and a TS? I just don't get it...

Nobody knows yet if it will be a CS, a TS or both. All indications are that it will be table service, but there's no info on whether they'll have a carry out pizza window or not (the Naples at Disneyland has something like that). If it's a TS, it won't be that big a deal about competing with Tutto Italia as they are both operated by the same company.

It isn't supposed to open until September so it will be awhile before we know about ADRs.

I have eaten at both Naples (table service) and Napolini (Counter Service) at Downtown Disney Disneyland many times. I just ate there Saturday (Napolini) and again yesterday (Naples). I got the Quattro Formaggi pizza yesterday...oh it was SOOOOOO good. My guess is the pizza will be the same, if not similar to what is served at the Disneyland Resort. It definitely is not what everyone prefers, but I LOVE it!

- Very thin crust that doesn't overpower, but compliments the pizza.
- Fresh, and classic tomato sauce. Very little put on the pizza.
- A Combination of Classic and Gourmet toppings available. These along with the amazing cheeses make the pizza.
- Real Mozzarrella Cheese - forms sections of cheese on the pizza instead of one big blanket of cheese.
- Quite Expensive - The individual pizzas range from 15.50 - 19 and family style sizes $35 and up.

The take out area is located right next to the Table Service restaurant. They share the same open woodfired stove. A LARGE slice of Pepperoni or Cheese costs $4.95. They also offer salad...etc.

I am hoping the menus are similar, as I love this restaurant out here. The menu is seasonal, which I love. Allows for fresh ingredients and new options on a regular basis. I wouldn't mind lower prices, but Patina is known for high priced restaurants. All three they have at Downtown Disney are quite pricey.

The majority of the Italian restaurants/pizzerias I've been to are like this. They'll probably just have separate seating and the TS section will be "nicer."
