They have closed WDW. As well as other places. Make sure you get gas, places are running out.

We dodged a huge bullet with this storm in the fact that we were on the left side of forward movement (good side). The right front quadrant of forward movement is the worst section of the storm.

2 hours south of Orlando I am about 5 miles from the coastline in West Palm Beach. The eye was as close as 60 miles offshore with 140 mile an hour winds and where I was at was not feeling anywhere near hurricane force winds. I was lucky with most of the feeder bands. We all should have had our butts kicked with this storm. Most everyone on the east coast of Florida got very lucky.

The bad part about this particular storm is that it gave a lot of people a false sense of security. The next storm like this if it happens the roll up the middle of the state the coastline will be in the right front quadrant and it will be a lot of devastation for everyone in that area.
