I apologize if this question has been asked a thousand times, but does anybody know if you can get a gift certificate for the GF Spa? It would make a nice Valentine gift to us girls for our upcoming trip in April! Who needs those flowers and chocolates, anyway?? Thanks in advance,

Apparently they do. I inadvertently posted this separately because when I asked the question and pressed "submit" the transaction wouldn't complete (technical difficulties), so I figured it didn't go through....

I am almost positive there is a map of the GF at the canadian Disney World website.... but I don't remember the web address.

I tried to make it as easy as possible!

So, what building should Cali-D request for a Garden View Room? Yeah, I'm good at telling people what to request - because I match what they want to a specific building or two. But, I have no idea what to request! Half tempted not to make a specific building/view request! I'm thinking Boca Chica or Sago Cay, just because I've never stayed in either! But, I'm sure I'll miss Conch or Big Pine!

Honestly I really liked Sago! I thought the view of the marina and Space Mountain was great!!! It's soooo close to Gasparilla and the bus stop too!! The only long walk is to the new pool, but it's not bad.

Another thing I noticed last time, that I hadn't noticed before, was all the comotion at the "Summerhouse". It seemed like everyday they were having a reception there and it was annoying. I liked the fact that Sago was away from all the action.

I found the map ...thanks! Boy the spa is a distance from everything. I am leaving tomorrow to spend 4 nights at GF and plan on going to the spa each day. I guess I better wear my walking shoes!

It's actually a really nice, relaxing walk. I enjoy it. If you are in one of the further buildings--Sago Cay, etc--it will seem a little longer.

I just returned from my first stay at the GF and it was "grand"! It was also my first solo trip and I enjoyed every minute of it.

My room number was 5431 and it overlooked the marina. I did take pictures however not with my digital camera.
Forgot to mention it was not a connecting room.

CaDream, Thank you for the info on the rooms. I have been reading these posts for weeks as well as hundreds of other sights trying to find the this info on the rooms with MK views. We will be going to the GF concierge Royal Palm on 4/10 for 4 days and my 4 yr old will be in heaven if she can go to sleep and wake up seeing her idol, Cinderella, castle. Thanks again! Robin

Yes, this would be a great place for a DVC property to be built! However, I don't think there is enough open land to put it anywhere. Maybe they could relocate the valet lot, and build a building there (they'd all just have 'standard' views, though). I'm sure that if they really wanted to, they could work out a way!
