The next morning....I was woken up to a PINK day....I can do PINK..I can't do DARK...so PINK day got us to ...hm.....DHS! Yes...DHS...we were there for the opening!!!! I have never been...I managed to see three park openings this trip. DHS, Epcot, and MK! LOVE MK!!! DHS was cute too....we rode TSM twice..it was great. The FP were going so fast. We dinked around...had some coffee and bfast at Starring Rolls Cafe....laughed til it hurt AGAIN...and we were all in pain...and then we took the boat to BW and had a FUN LOUD lunch at ESPN. We had a super great waitress...and I don't remember her name because the Pom Pom Margaritas were so delish....We took a cab back to the GF...and that itself was cause for MANY MANY more laughs....

Chan forgot to mention that when I arrived Friday morning they were at the GF bus stop and would not wait for me to drop of my luggage! They were yelling and waving and then drove away! I had to have my driver take me to DHS and meet them!

I almost won round 2 of TSM! Sheli beat me the second time around but for like 10 seconds i thought I had beat Kelly and was doing a little victory dace and smack talking so that's all that matters to me!

That is neat you know about Haydel's Bakery and the King Cakes!!!! That was very generous of Haydel's Bakery...they would not accept payment. I am going to go online and order a cake from them for Mardi Gras...I better do it asap. And the cake was FABULOUSLY YUMMY!!! My girls would LOVE girlie MG beads!! That is so sweet!!! I am working on getting pics on my facebook...and this post popped up in an email!! I will be back in a bit to add to the trip and post some pics...it is really time consuming...all the pics.

Yea for more pictures and info! We have never stayed at the GF in the summer so I am very interested in any and all new info on the cabanas as well.

Glad you remember me. Let me know if you are serious about those beads and I'll get them out to you. I am in an all ladies parade that rolls next week, so they are all at my fingertips until then. We are all about girls in our krewe so our stuff is GREAT!

That was the most funnest (I know that's not a word...but when you've had four fluffy drinks poolside it works) VACATION OF MY LIFE!! THANKS TONS GF GALS!!!! I am still in recovery mode.....

OK...I am working on my pics....but....where did I leave off????

Hmmm......Saturday...we went to Epcot and had a BLAST. Lots of yummo drinks...rides...hysterical people to mess with...and we had a scrumptious lunch at the Italian place....really good....and a cute waiter too. We traipsed around Epcot drinking and laughing and LAUGHING....and then we went back to our GF to get ready for the evening.....we had rented the Grand 1 for a Wishes cruise that night. It was going to be a ton of fuN!!!!! (I did have fun...others not so much..... )

BUT...when we returned to the room after a long day at Epcot....It was NOW decorated sooo sooo cute by the Disney Florist!!! It was in Mickey theme with so many adorable gift items...and things hanging on the wall, door, and sliders...(which were actual French doors in the deluxe room..well one was lol..the other didn't move so almost actual French doors... ) The room was so cute. *THANKS GF* That was just so sweet.

I am going to hunt for some pics now! I'll be back!!!!!

My next picture of major importance is this newish (it was there in October) drink menu that sits on the tables in the cabanas.....I took the pic in October with DD's camera...but this turned out much better with my own.....

Bummah..I guess in the resizing that menu lost some of it's oomph. Well....I can try and post it again later larger....and speaking of cabanas..here is a pic of the newest version...they are working on building cabinets for the fridges...so it will look nicer soon. Everything is NEW. These were taken at sunset so the colors are deeper.....omg..I almost wrote deepAH...notice the ceiling fans...and the flat screen tv mounted up high...

This is a photo of the wonderful cake the Cali Grille brought out for Dawn and Shel...and it was delicious too....,no ice crystals in it. AND the Cali Grill was sooooo sooo good. They were awesome to me also because I dorked out and left my DDE card in my smaller "park wallet" in my backpack...(oh..ya all loved my backpack right?!?!?! With the tail....) and everybody was counting on that discount!! Well the super awesomely wonderful waitress let us have it on our honor. So that was just the best thing...well one of the best...we had a lot of BEST this trip.

And...I LOVE my backpack...It is my security backpack..so don't y'all go dissing it. I know you won't....,.it came in handy for you guys too!

They kind of seemed to cut back a bit on the offerings...but this was the only day we were around for the midday munchies...it just seemed light...although the place was empty..so I am sure they don't want to be wasteful, either....
