Not sure how it works where you are, but around here you can just call your doctor and get an order to go to the imagining center or directly to the radiology department at the hospital for an x-ray. That way you don't have to wait in the ER. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion, but no doctor around here will just give you an order to go directly to radiology without at least seeing him or her first.

Hi Everyone...

Really nice to see such great trip reports... THANKS! Ohhh... and I saw that awesome upgrade, that is so cool!

MickeyMaz... Hmmm.. can't say I know the answer, I guess I had assumed it was something from the Mary Poppins movie. If I get some time I will try to rewsearch it.

Lives4... How are you feeling... is the back better?

A little crazied here... had a really busy weekend and I think the kids are getting sick URGHHH and we leave in a couple of days... and I am frantic about packing and the weather etc.. I so hate packing!!

Gotta run for now.. at least get the suitcases out...

Best!!

We arrived back home this morning after a fabulous week at the Grand Floridian.

I am now officially in love with the RPC  We were in room 4414 and it was perfect, a short walk from the lounge and a wonderful view - if we looked to the left we could just see the top of the Castle, straight ahead was the garden and to the right was the Poly/lagoon with Epcot in the background.

I did miss the location of the Epcot resorts but the luxury of the GF made up for that - I'm going to book to go back either later this year or early next year and can't wait :woohoo:

Diselderm,ClareH - Glad everyone has had great trips! Thanks for reporting! We leave for RPC on Wednesday and can't wait!

I'm repacking since its going to be 80's during the day and 60's at night! We've never been in December when its been warm-It has always been record lows when we're there in December!:santa:

Off to do more laundry!:laundy:

Still catching up, but as I've seen the question a couple of times...

I'm 99.999% sure that Sago Cay is currently being refurbished. DH and I were in one of the RPC honeymoon rooms (4203) from 11/29-12/2, and after watching all the activitiy outside of Sago, I think it's safe to say that there were NO guests staying there. The racket they were making late afternoon of our first day removing the patio furniture was enough to wake the dead, and you could tell at night by the lack of lights, how some of the drapes were hanging, etc., that it was uninhabited.

When we left the MK for the last time on 12/7, we noticed from the monorail that Sago had that "ghost hotel" look that others have commented on - they were obviously testing all the TV's, as they were all on, playing to empty, dark rooms.

We had an absolutely great time at the GF. My DH is now a believer (this was his 1st stay there). I'll report back with more details, but wanted to advise that Sago is definitely getting its makeover!

Look at what I just bought... They're listed on Ebay - I guess they are selling all the stuff from the refurb... this is from the room I stayed in and LOVED last time I was at the GF... Conch Key... 7513... It's going on my guest room door....

that is so cool that you actually got the one from the room that you stayed in. Great idea to hang it on your guest room door!

Great News! Thank you Tinkaroo! We leave in 4 days and are staying GV, so I was hoping we would be able to get a refurbed room. So it seems then that the last of the old rooms are now under construction. Thank you!!

Can I ask how much you paid?

Tinkaroo - can't wait to hear about your stay.:surfweb:

I bought a couple of the room number plaques on Ebay, too.....they were selling the brass RPC and other floors of the main building a few months ago. I have 4409 a great room we stayed in and 4321 - I think - whatever that fabulous turret room everybody wants that I will stay in sometime, lol....I paid only $9.99 (that is what they were listed as) for my 4409 I think because it doesn't say Royal Palm Club on it & wasn't very coveted, but says Royal Poincianna (I think) and the 4321 I paid about $25.

That Ebay is a great way to keep up with what refurb they are currently doing....I forgot about that. They are most likely going to have Sago stuff soon if not already.

Heatherlynn, Princesses & Brian - have a wonderful time!

Channing:)

Are you speaking in the past, or are they still available?

I just checked e-bay and I did'nt see any. There were alot of bedspreads and dust ruffles. I was looking at the Alice Bspread and they want 19.00 for shipping to send it to my house!

For anyone who just returned - Did you see the Gingerbread house pins? Since they are Limited Edition, I'm hoping there are still some left. Also, are they sold in M. Mouse or at the Gingerbread House? I'm sprinting to buy one as soon as we arrive tommorow! I know they go on sale via the internet on Thursday if there are any left.
Thanks!:)

I saw the pins at the Gingerbread House, in M. Mouse, as well as Sandy Cove. I actually bought my gingerbread house pin, as well as the Holiday 2007 one for the GF, in Sandy Cove.

They also had Christmas Jibbitz! Got a cute Santa Tink, Santa Mickey, and Pluto dressed as a reindeer. I saw them in a couple of other stores, too, and those seem to be the only ones out. Was hoping for a Minnnie, Donald, or Goofy one, too!

Ok I am supposed to be packing but jsut had to check in and say HELLO!

A little nervous about our trip had DS & DD to the Dr. this am... DS has an acute sinus infection and DD has Bronchitis plus the weather for our travle days is yucky....

No I am wondering if we should cancel... I so don't want to and am packing but am a little worried about DD & DS (4yrs). They both started antibotics this am, and will take there 3rd dose of 5 the morning we leave. Dr. said to go they should be ok. Anyone travel when there little ones were in the midst or hopefully recovering from something? Any thoughts?

Hope everyone is well... seems a lot of us are leaving inthe next couple of days!

Here's hoping!!

Best,

Princessesrule4 - Where would one go "on-line" to acquire such an item as a Gingerbread House pin on Thursday if one were to be available? Disneystore.com?

TInk rules-wow that is a great find! and very cute idea of where to hang it!

Can I ask how much you paid?

They have them here...

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZsurpluskingdom

I just emailed them directly (through ebay) and asked about my specific number and another room number and they found this one for me (which is the one I wanted most...)

It looks like they do have some listed... they time out soon though.

& they are featuring other signs as well... concierge, etc...

Have fun looking.

Oh... I paid about $12 including shipping.
