I just got a copy of my itinerary from IPO. Everything was perfect except our last reservation for Le Cellier was for Monday, Dec. 8, 2025! :rotfl: Now I plan ahead but not that far ahead!

Can I give IPO my travel times to send to DME? Would they handle that for me?

Thanks,

Lori

They told me I had to do DME myself or have AAA do it (booked a package through them). Somehting about not wanting the IPO to have that responsibility. I had our AAA agent do it. When are you going? Where are you dining?

Thanks. I'll just call Disney's Magical Express myself. We are coming in on Dec. 1 but are leaving on a cruise the next day. We leave Disney Dec. 9.

We're eating everywhere! I'm particularly looking forward to: Narcoosee's, Citricos and Yachtsman Steakhouse. I think the dining plan will be wonderful for our family.

We booked GF RPC for next May 6 - 13th :cool1:

I am so excited! I almost can't believe we are going back!

Congratulations! I love going in May. The weather is perfect. Is that during Mother's Day?

My question is as follows:

Does anyone know of a "fun" yet "relaxing" spa experience that the GF offers for couples? I want to surprise my future husband on our honeymoon with a spa treatment so he can relax but I want one for myself too :-D Anyone have any suggestions? Also, cost......how much would it be?

Thanks!

Ana, this site lists out all the available treatments and their prices, www.relaxedyet.com.

We are staying at WDW again this Christmas and New Year and are still to decide on our plans for New Years Eve. I have read that a band plays in the Lobby at GF with a balloon drop. We are staying at AKL. Would we be able to made a PS for dinner at the GF and then enjoy the News Years festivities at the hotel?

How many rooms TOTAL does the GF have? How many concierge rooms are there? Trying to figure out the percentage of concierge vs non-concierge rooms.

Thanks!

Concierge is about 15-20% off hand. The GF has by far more Concierge rooms than any other resort.

Thanks for the info! Was just trying to answer another question on the Resort Board. Got this info from IPO:

Dear Mrs. XXXXXXX,

We have 867 rooms total in the hotel and about 180 of those are concierge. Please let us know if we can assist you any further.

Only two weeks until we leave :cool1: :cool1:

I am trying to tie up a couple of loose ends and have a question:

Is there any place at GF besides a restaurant that has the music to Wishes? Ideally we would like to watch the fireworks from the a beach area.

Thanks,
Stacy

So we are back. It is bittersweet... It is nice to be home with our cats, but we miss GF. There is so much that happened - good and bad, but not bad because of GF or concierge. I will eventually get to my trip report, but for now I must finish getting through my email.

Can anyone tell me what views are available at the GF for Lodge Concierge. We are thinking of doing our vow renewal in the wedding pavilion and I would love to stay there for a few days as well.

Also, if we skip concierge and just get lagoon view, what are our chances of having a castle view? We'll have our 3 kids with us and I had promised them Poly Lagoon view, but would love to upgrade to GF!

OK, my fiance and I are going to the GF for our honeymoon Nov. 27 to Dec. 1, then 3 days on the Wonder. We booked the 7-day Land and Sea package with our AAA travel agent in January, and I didn't know to request a specific type of room or view, and at the time was having such sticker shock I didn't care. Well, after reading everyone's wonderful suggestions, now I care! I would love to have a view of the MK (I know I'll have to request it at the front desk) but since I have no idea what time of room we'll get, I wonder what the chances are (and how much cost difference there is) in trying to upgrade to a honeymoon suite. I asked my travel agent about our room and she just said for these package deals they'll try to give me best available. I imagine that means we've started with a garden view and I'll just have to try to work it out at check-in. But any suggestions would be very much appreciated! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

When was the last rehab done to the GF, in particular the RPC?

I need to get a count down!

TIA!

Okay, my trip report is done! There is a link in my signature. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!!!

Enjoyed your trip report very much. Thanks for sharing it! Can't wait until I'm there late next week! :Pinkbounc

Does anyone know what is going on in Sugar Loaf? A Diser at the resort said it looked empty and saw workers going in and out. Possibly a soft rehab?
