Hello all-

From what I was able to see yesterday, all the buildings are done except SL which they are working on now. (Lots of furniture going in yesterday-couches, tvs and even some boxes that said "outdoor furniture".

Sago is definitely NOT done.. All the rooms still have the old style number plaques and the carpets are all the olds style. Not sure why the conflicting info but it is not currently being worked on. Maybe when SL is done.
:rotfl: Ok! that was a little confusing! :confused3

Just kidding! So are you saying the following....

RPC - Rehab Done
Conch Key -Rehab Done
Big Pine Key - Rehab Done
Boca Chica- Rehab Done

Sugar Loaf - Currently Working

Sago Cay - Not Rehabbed yet

OK I am a little dense and would just like clarification before our trip in 26 DAYS :yay:

Thanks for the information!

A little OT, but my DS is pretty sick and has been for over 2 weeks. There's a link to the story in my signature. If you pray, we'd sure appreciate it.

Hi ALL...

I am going to try to post some pictures from our Rehab Conch room and view that we stayed in mid September....

Hmmm it's not working... anyone point me to where the "How to" is for posting pictures so they apper in the post?

This was our room... the intersting thing about this room is that there was no wallpaper on the walls!
We first had a room in Sago that was not rehab but had a view of trees even though it faced the lagoon. Honestly I liked the decor in that room bettter, the little table and chairs, the BIG decorative pillows on the beds, the wallpaper etc.... but I traded it for the view we had in Conch.

This was the view from inside the room, the yacht, monorail etc... it was a ground floor room which was very convenient and on the end of the building.

The View from the patio:

This was literally right outside our room:

The bathroom... which was not re-done from waht I could tell... especially where the tub was it was done..

This is I think Sago (soemone can correct me if I am wrong) our view from inside the GF Cafe

Not our view... But the view from the Balcony on the second floor of the Main Building

One of the treats from from private dining:

I might have more.. but that's a start.

If anyone has questions let me know, as well as how to post the picture so it just appears.

Best

Denise: I've been following your thread on Rees. I hope the little guy gets seen and soon. Is he one who *must* see the monorail from your hotel room?

We're all pulling for your little boy.:grouphug:

Yes, he's my monorail fanatic! He told us at dinner tonight he was going to be the monorail pilot when he grows up. Thanks for the prayers!

Denise, I will say a prayer for Rees. I am so sorry he's been miserably sick. There is nothing NOTHING worse than watching your child suffer.:sad1: Hope he gets better soon.

Keep us posted.

Denise,

More prayers and well wishes come your way for Rees and your family. I agree with Channing, there is absolutely NOTHING worse then wehn your child is sick.

Best,

Okay --- our Grand Gathering cruise was canceled so now we are looking for a way to celebrate the birthday for our group of 16. The Grand 1 is already booked for our evenings so I was wondering if there was some place other than a restraunt we could have our birthday cake etc. We could rent the pontoons -- but we would need two -- and everyone wants to be with the birthday Princess so that won't work.

Any ideas???

Only 49 days to go!!:yay:

Sorry, those posts were from two different days and the mystery continued to unravel. Sago has not been started yet. SL is in the process and everything else is done except the suites in the main building. Hope that clears up!

Heading home today:sad2:

Maybe you could plan a private dining event???? You can call private dining and set up something special in the summer house or on a balcony off the main building?? Not sure about the specifics, but maybe that would be an option so you can all be together as a party to celebrate???

Minniesota - Safe travels! Can't wait to see your pics. Glad it was a nice time.:) Sorry it has to end. :guilty:

Neversaynever
- I can't see your pics!! I don't know if anybody else can??? I get a "Forbidden" message.

Cmbar - Hi! I saw you questioned that other poster on that thread regarding Poly/GF and this person said that the Poly GVs were so much better than GF GVs....nope, she's wrong. I do not think she ever stayed at the GF. Almost all GF GVs are of just that - garden. They could be pool, marina, garden.....but not so at the Poly. Several buildings face the main parking lot with very little in between the patio/balcony and the pavement. I don't know what she's talking about. Don't worry!! Yes many Poly buildings do have pretty garden views, but for her to say what she said about the GF GVs is way off and not true.

OK, I am a major technoidiot, but I use that little mountain picture icon above the window where you post (second from the right, next to the little quote bubble - which I have no idea how to use, haha).....I click the little mountain picture and paste my photo url or whatever it is called into the space and it goes right into my post.....ok, is that even halfway understandable?? I am so clueless, but that little icon was my little miracle to get me to be able to post pics.

I would love to see your pics!!!
Somebody please help Neversaynever!!!

Channing,

I actually understand what you are referring to with the icon...

But my question is where (what site?) is your picture on that you get the URL from? Mine are on Kodak gallery...

Still trying...

Thanks!

Yes, I kinda thought that was funny that she wrote that she wouldn't pay for at GV "parking Lot" view. I didn't want to start any bad feelings, so I asked if she had a stay there since it didn't look like she had ever stayed there. She never responded so I am kinda guessing she just didn't like the GF! I trust what you said about never having a parking lot view, but I kinda wanted to point out that she had never stayed there, or if she had, to have her explain. I think Tammi responded that there might be some Convention center views, but it looks like those might come from Sago Cay, which doesn't look like it will be open when we get there in 25 DAYS:banana:

I hope I get a renovated room!

YES someone help NeversayNever! We want to see pictures!!

We are saying prayers for your son and all of you and hope that the docs figure all of this out immediately!:grouphug:
