Ok for some more detail
We were met at the front of the main building by Hannah and walked right to 6220.

It was the 2nd floor tower room and had the extra space and couch !! Way to go Calvin for coming thru for us. The couch pulled out into a bed and great was for us. The kids slept in it every night as my DH mom joined us and she took the other bed.

The room was cleaned everynight and we had turn down service and some great towel animals. We tipped daily and had no complaints at all. We didnt take the buses that much and when we did they were fine.

Here are some pics of the room and also from the lounge on the 4th of July. The fireworks on the 3rd and 4th were the best I have EVER seen. We watched the 3rd in the MK and the 4th from the GF they even had the music piped in.

Can you tell me what type of room that was? That set up would be perfect for us. Maybe I need to change my request for a king..

ALso, where are the cabanas? Do you rent them.. by the hour.. are they costly?

Thank you for taking the type to post your pictures!
From the look of the pictures, I am guessing you were lucky enouch to get the Lodge Tower style room ... Was that in Sugarloaf??? I am trying to decide b/w RPC deluxe room for the first week of 2/08 or take my chances and request the extra space in SL, hoping for that extra TV!!!

Kelly, awesome pics. haha to that one picture being erased. It was so cool to meet you & talk to you.

You have been hard at "work" posting all your great pics. Glad you had a fun time and SL didn't disappoint you this time. So.....when are you going back? We had a ball in RPC. I just love that place and they make us feel so at home there. I don't know when we will be back, though, because DS16.7 was such a dud. He said he wanted to go with, but he turned out to be such a downer. Our WDW family vacations may be nearing an end.....maybe just the girls and I. We are going for Thanksgiving for sure (not RPC, though), but after that we';ll see. On July 3rd we ate at Ohana and figured we'd watch fireworks from the beach, but instead we walked back to GF and watched them on the 3rd floor balcony concierge balcony w/Vonnie & Joe and his friends and some other neat CMs we met this time. It was such fun. On the 4th we went to MGM & checked into YC. Last year on the 4th MGM was EMPTY. Word must have spread because this year it was packed. NEVER have I seen it so crowded. TGM let me down this year. Also, the 4th fireworks at MGM lasted a whole 6 minutes. I kid you not......six lame minutes. Everybody was standing there waiting for more, but there never were more!! Where wre you guys on July 4th? I was thinking about you during your cabana time. We had beautiful weather for you. We spent most of it swimming in SAB then Epcot and dinner at 1900.

Your boys are darling. We saw several racing trailor trucks on the way back up north. Maybe they came from your Daytona race? It was kind of cool. I have never seen those before - kind of like the one in "Cars" and "Taladega Nights".

Take care. Oh, PS.....my kids agreed with the "Stupido" assessment of the new Mexico ride. Perfect way to put it. We did it 3X, though, haha because there was no line and we wanted to sit in AC.

I don't either, but the people who live behind us LOVE IT!!! DH said if I wanted tickets he could grab some from work, but I figured we wait a couple of years and take DS with us.
