I'm pretty sure you can get a 13th floor room at the Hollywood Tower Hotel in Hollywood Studios. Its a real scream! ;) Be careful. I think something's wrong with the elevator over there. People are just dying to get out of there.

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

I was looking into the differences between the 12th and 14th club levels besides the price. We are looking to book a Theme Park view club level room for June 2010 as a surprise for our DS for 2 nights and then heading over to the YC for 9 nights. He has been dying to stay at the CR so we are figured this would be a great surprise for him. We have stayed at the GF and the YC both club level. Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA

HI!
We are staying at the CR the 3rd week in December and we are doing deluxe dining so we all get those refillable mugs. What kinds of drinks will be available? Will we be able to get things like juice and milk or just coffee and soft drinks?

Thanks in advance if anyone knows what the new counter service menu will be like!

SLDL - WOW! :worship: The sunset picture is amazing...thank you so much for sharing!!!

If they still have the Tempo Grab & Go the soda machine has Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Barqus and one or two others which I forget. Besides that you can get Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate. Juice and Milk need to be purchased separatately.

For the price I would stay 12th. There really isn't much difference besides the height! We stayed 12th and it was great. All the rooms were totally redone. The 14th floor rooms only received an uplift. Also the 14th floor is mostly suites with I think 4 regular rooms. I think your chance of getting MK view may be better on the 12th unless you want a suite. The food and service is the same on both floors.

Thanks so much ang38. There are only 3 of us so the regular rooms will due just fine. 12th floor it is. Oh our DS is going to be so excited. :yay: Thanks again.

ANYTIME!! You are going to love it there. The rooms are great, the views fantastic and the food in the lounge pretty good!

CR Resort Fan, thank you...and I just had a thought that I might have my nouns confused...did you mean a lounge at concierge level or (I am hoping!) a lounge as in "bar," as in like the Outer Rim....

It's an actual Club Level lounge with tables and sofas for you to sit down and eat, plus two wide screen TV's. So that means there is also an island where all the food and drinks are put out on and a cart for all the Beer and Wine.

Today one of the foods in the lounge was the Prosciutto Flatbread Pizza's and they were simply amazing.

Oh that sounds so yummy. I love Flatbread Pizza's.

Even though the trip isn't until 2010, I am still very excited. Our DS will be out of his mind when we arrive. Hopefully we can keep this a secret and he won't find out until the car pulls up to the CR.:lmao: We were also thinking of inviting one of his friends. I think I can handle two 14 year olds.:scared1:

Last night I gathered up some of my Outer Rim photo’s and made a tribute on YouTube. Enjoy!

I will be back at the CR for Labor Day weekend, I’ll post some pictures afterwards.

Thank you, MJ, that was a touching tribute :sad1: I really hate to see it close and I hope you're right that they're going to open a smaller version of the Outer Rim on the Concourse. This is the last time I saw it (in May):

Cool and thanks! No question that change is good, but sometimes it’s hard to re-adjust.

Just goes to show you how many of us get into a routine when visiting the world time and time again.

Can't agree that all change is good. I'm trying to keep an open mind, but I've not been at all impressed with the changes to the Concourse. Tacky, tacky, tacky.

Me too... but think that things will get much better once Chef Mickey Express or whatever is finished, and the outer rim moved, and in general when the entire remodel is done. I think then, things will get really good
