Sorry, but what is BVG?
It's the shop on the right side from Fantasia's.
Sorry, but what is BVG?
Their full name is Bay View Gifts.Sorry, but what is BVG?
Anybody tried room service?
I have not tried room service at the Contemporary, however when looking at the menu some items they have like their sandwiches and salads are the same ones you could get at the Tempo Grab & Go. So just something you should know.I haven't tried CR room service, but have tried Poly and GCH (in DLR) and have liked them both, and I wouldn't be afraid to try it at CR
Can anyone tell me if there are any kids activities during the day at the pool?
Thanks!!

I don't remember if they do, however I am sure you can get one done at the Grand Floridian.Does the Cont. offer message services? If not, which hotel does?

Here is a link to the cost and etc of renting boats at the Contemporary. http://www.wdwinfo.com/recreation/parasail.htmHi again, My DH has a dream of watching the fireworks from the lake while cruising on the gentle waters of a Florida lagoon. I, on the other hand, prefer the land where my DD can't go overboard, except in the purchasing of too many stuffies. I am, however, willing to give him this one if it's possible. Has anyone ever rented a boat at the CR? Is it even possible to get one for Wishes without taking a Wishes Cruise? Thanks for any advice you can give!
Hi! Sorry for the possibly silly question, but I was wondering if it makes a lot of difference what side of the hotel you're on (side closest to MK vs. side closest to the Garden Wing). I've seen many posts asking what floor to request & I've seen photos on the photo thread from the different floors and from rooms close to MK side and towards the middle of the hotel, but nothing from the 'far' side of the hotel. I'm curious what the view is like from a room on the side closest to the Garden Wing (I believe the room numbers would end in the high 20's).
Honestly, I'm sure any view on the MK side is awesome...I'm just trying to prepare myself for the worst case scenarioI currently have a MK view room ressie & I've already requested a high floor. Is it worth it to request a room closer to the MK side of the building?
I honestly don't think there are any bad Magic Kingdom Views rooms in the Tower. A few years ago my family and I had one on the 6th floor which is the lowest possible floor you can get (there are none on the 5th floor because of the Monorail station) and we did not see anything wrong with it.Statler said:I'm also worried about getting a bad MK view room. Is there a such thing? I was thinking of upgrading from the Deluxe Wing room to a MK view as a surprise for my wife.
In all my past trips to DW you could not rent any watercraft after dark.
I try to tell him this seems silly, but he swears he heard about it on a Podcast... As I said, I'm nervous about the water to begin with, now throw in DARK water and all I see are crocodiles! At least I can say I did all the research I could.
Don't worry about the crocodiles, they only live in way-south FL, Alligators on the other hand.
Here in MN I only have to worry about large sturgeon...obviously I need some reptile training... What am I SAYING???![]()

If there any boats in the water at night in the Magic Kingdom area it would be the Wishes Cruises boat, Resort transportation boats and the one that goes to and from the TTC.
Thanks! Logic wins out again! We leave in 11 days, so I'm sure the Wishes Cruises are rather booked. Maybe there will be a cancellation. These last minute trip additions are crazy!
