We were only staying 2 nights at CR TMKV 4/26 & 4/27, for my DD's birthday--because 4/25 was booked.

Well, I just added 4/25, with the room only code rate for MKV! No resort/room switching!!!

:dance3:
Us too! We got the 4/25 room only code too, and I'm so glad the rooms opened up. If you see my triplets, me, and DH, be sure to say hi. And Happy Birthday to your DD. See you there!

That's great news about and from what is on the menu looks good.

Help! We are not staying at the Contemporary during free dining--darn!, but we are getting to Disney. Just wondering if anyone can tell me specifics on what computer services might be available at the Contemporary Business Center common areas? I was wondering if computers are available, or if it's just access to Wi-Fi and you need your own computer. Thanks!

There is a business center located in the convention center building at the Contemporary. I believe their hours are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, so hopefully someone can confirm that. The cost to use the internet is $10.00 for 15 minutes, however based on my experiences if your on for less then 15 minutes they might not charge you at all. Of course that also depends on the Cast Member who is working at the time. The only thing I don't know is how much it costs to print something there.

Hey there, I am planning our next trip end of January next year (specifically 1/30-2/7). When I called to make reservations today the Contemporary Theme Park view was completely sold out for that time window.

Any idea if it's "really" sold out vs. just not released yet? She was able to find concierge level, bay lake views, etc. just not the theme park view.

Guess I will need to keep calling back to try and get this booked. The Contemporary Theme Park view is DH's request this trip and I'd hate to disappoint him! :guilty:

I don't know for sure but that is the week we went in 2007 and there was a convention or something at the CR so we could not book there. We ended up at the Poly. Good Luck!

If your having trouble this far out getting that view normally I would say it's because of a convention. However since you mentioned the Bay Lake view and Club Level being available, maybe it's a case of the Magic Kingdom view being that popular and selling out months in advance which has happened before. Plus why would all those other room types be available if they had not released the Magic Kingdom view? Anyway my advice if you really want to stay at the Contemporary is to book the Bay Lake view so you have a reservation there and keep trying for the Magic Kingdom view. If you look everyday online or call CRO you will eventually get a room.

This is a joke, right? Or is it just a sampling of what's on the menu?

Its been so hectic I have not been on Dis too much....but wanted to wish ou a fabulous and safe trip!!! I was worried I may have been too late to wish you a Magical Trip!!

:thumbsup2 popcorn:: Phew!!! I just read this whole entire thread this morning ( I also read the old thread too!) Lots of greta info on here, thanks for a information thread well done and researched. I'm booked for the Contemporary (+8 others in our family) in August (16th-22nd). We have 4 rooms all with MK views. I was hoping to get exact room numbers for our trip but when I callled they told me they couldnt release that info unitll a week prior to our trip:snooty: Whats a girl to do.......but wait and wait some more.
I was really hoping for some sort of discount however this appears it will not be happening for us in our time frame. We went with the DDP so hopefully all is planned well on my part as all meal reservations have been made. The planning has been long and tedious.....Im hoping it has been well worth it and our vacation goes smooth with minimal kinks. Out of the 12 of us going, 6 of us have never been on a plane or to Disney so we are very EXCITED! Any pointers or info would be much appreciated. Just dont want to forget/overlook anything.
Thanks!:flower3: :wizard: :grouphug:
