The chocolate monorail is white chocolate and costs 40.00- Is that correct?

Has anyone on here actually gotton the chocolate monorail delivered to their room? I was thinking of doing this for my son instead of a birthday cake. Also when it said up to 2 weeks prior does that mean it has to be 2 weeks in advance or you cant order it until it is 2 weeks or less before your trip. Just one last questions does anyone have the private dining number so I can call them? Thanks so much for your help!!!

I got it for DH and it was great. It came with several rich desserts (pictured on the first post of this thread) which DH preferred, but I loved the white chocolate. The actual train part was hollow, but it seemed that there was more than enough of it. We weren't able to eat all of it.

I called Private Dining the day before (or it might have been the morning of). If you call more than 2 or 3 days in advance, you might run the risk of having your order lost.

They left it in the room while we were in the park so DH came back to a nice surprise. It cost about $40.

Just a basic room in the garden wing. This is already a splurge for us! We don't really care about the view. Any tips for getting a good room? Should we request 1st floor, close to the Tower?

My family and I have never stayed in the Garden Wing before, so I don't think it would be fair for me to tell you what type of room you should request.

We did, several years ago. We stayed on the 1st floor facing the water and it was absolutely lovely. We couldn't see the fireworks, but we could walk right out our patio door and down to the water. It was, however, quite a walk to get back into the main tower building.

Thanks to everyone in this thread....and CR Resort Fan, I have always admired your adoration to CR...and Denise....am so happy for you and your family...cant wait to hear all about trip!

You all deserve it...I followed your other thread going back! Prayer is powerful...even if its here!!!

So I went through the whole thread....I only have 2 nights here...but will take lots of photos...have only been inside the CR once for dinner at the CG...
I love the rooms, and a computer! Gotta love it!!

You guys should love it! One of the things I loved about Bay Lake view was that every morning i could wake up, look out onto to patio and see people parasailing! Its also a good way to watch for the boat! and the sun rises are beautiful!

That's not true. There is an elevator located by the arcade which goes right up to the Monorail station.

Oh good. So I should be able to get around the resort? I really don't want to book if an area of the resort would be closed off to me or something. I know it was built before the ADA laws.

Even though the tower rooms are more expensive, they are still easier to get to the shops and everything right? Do the tower wings/garden wings use the same elevator? Is there only one elevator, should expect to wait some time for it right?

We will be at the Contemporary Tower MK View with our twins girls May 3rd throught 9th what are your dates?? I cannot wait to see the view of the Magic Kingdom from our room we go to Disney every year but this is going to be our first stay at the CR.

This question has been posted many times and according to Cr Resort for Life..he states that any room on the MK side is a great view..it really doesn't matter so don't stress out! I have a MK view, as well, in August and I know from reading this thread that I can not go wrong with any room! Have a great trip!
