Good Morning! I rarely post but am a faithful lurker. We have booked MK view atrium level but the My Disney Vacation page says 2 bedroom suite. I think I read awhile back there is a glitch in the system. Is this true and it is really correct?

Originally for my families reservation this August we also had the Artium Club - Magic Kingdom View and when I looked at our confirmation onlie it also said that, however when I called they said our reservation was correct. My guess is since this is a new booking category that's why they are having problems with it, although I wonder if that same problem would show up if we called CRO and did not make the reservation online.

I need your help! I have read conflicting information about this question...what is the easiest way to get from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney? We will be leaving at about 11 am, and I don't think that there is a direct bus until after 4 pm.

The bus to Downtown Disney will be operating before then, because it also drops people off at Typhoon Lagoon. I have also seen the bus that says Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon arrive after 8:00 AM while waiting for a Hollywood Studios bus, so you won't have anything to worry about.

Hi everyone...

We're headed back for our 2nd stay at the Contemporary in May. Last time it was a quick trip in the fall (4 days) so we really didn't get to enjoy the resort much since our time was all about the parks. We're looking forward to spending a little more time relaxing this trip.

My questions...
I'm hoping there is not going to be a rehab going on at the pool?? I didn't see anything listed, but recent pictures show what appears to be a construction fence not related to the tower construction next door. I'm confused

How is Contempo? When we were there last they were still working on it - pretty loudly I might add. And please please please tell me they have Mickey waffles...

We're booked in Garden wing, garden view (which is where we were booked last time but they put us in the tower without even asking!). Can someone tell me which end of the garden wing this is?

The pool just re-opened however they are still doing work around it, like planting more trees and etc. So they still have a fence around it. However I am sure by May it will be 100% finished.

The Contempo Cafe is amazing and one item you got try is their Chicken Caesar Salad with the dressing already on it. Now according to their menu they have Waffles topped with bananas and salted caramel, however it does mention if they are Mickey Waffles.

Finally since my family and I have not stayed in the Garden Wing I am not sure what area your room would be located at, so hopefully someone else knows that answer.

The banana salted carmel waffles are not Mickey waffles. I did see Mickey waffles on the in room dining menu.

Not Trena but yes that was confirmed to me by one of the lifeguards 2 wks ago.

Just a few minutes ago my dad got off the phone with CRO and got the AAA/CAA rate for the Contemporary this December on the Atrium Club floor with the Bay Lake View. Originally we were going to get the Magic Kingdom View up there, however the Bay Lake View is $500 cheaper. So now we got another trip to look forward to.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any idea when that kids splash area is supposed to open? We're heading there in about a month with our 2 year old and crossing our fingers it will be open by then...
