The new convert's first ever PTR to DCL Alaska Cruise (8/16/11 - 8/23/11)

No 2 front teeth for 3.5 years??? Woooah.

Well, I'm sure you will plenty to do on your cruise even without all the shore excursions (I think).

My baby cousins got a lot of cavaties from sucking on tylenol pills, because they're candy coated
Yeah, my thoughts exactly....it will be a long 3.5 years (and she won't have any more backup teeth after her permanent teeth grow in).

That's crazy about your baby cousin getting cavities from tylenol. Maybe I should worry since I take tylenol often for reoccurring headaches.

As for the cruise without shore excursions....I guess we'll just have to see Alaska from afar...sigh!

Derek, I think you can see alot of Alaska w/o official excursions! My parents did only the train in Skagway - they saw alot on their own. It is America, and it looks like you can see alot of "Alaska" type things pretty near the ports.

A-ha! I knew this was here but it took me awhile to find it!

I'm excited for tomorrow! We are meeting up with Derek, Wendy and the kids in Disneyland tomorrow!

Thanks Tammie, yes, we may have to resort to seeing Alaska vicariously through our friends' shore excursions. Hope you're doing well. Take care.:lovestruc

Looking forward to getting together again (last year's WDW trip seems like eons ago). But not looking forward to the rain! :umbrella:

I just wanted to share a slideshow of our day of fun with uncle D.Jay ("Underdog369"), Cherie ("winkers") and their kids over the past weekend during their visit to Disneyland. Their grown kids were great baby sitters and we owe them lots of thanks .

Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kYNMoMa3lg :woohoo: :happytv:

Fabulous video. Looks like all the kids got along very well. :)

And happy graduation day to Jordan on Thursday! I'm so proud of him. :)

Awesome slides, Derek! Thanks for sharing. All of the kids from both families have grown up so much! Bailey looks really pretty with dark hair.
I'm glad you all got together - what a wonderful meet!:cool1:

Congratulations to Jordan today! You should be proud of yourself for completing this chapter in your life. I am so very proud of you. Now on to the next chapter. And know that I lend my support in whatever way I can. :)

Derek,
Video was awsome! :thumbsup2 Thanks for sharing, your kids are such cutie pies!
Thanks for the love. Glad the big kids had a great time with our little ones.

I loved the pictures Derek! It was great to see everyone having so much fun.
Thanks Glenn. Yeah, meetups are always great.

Had a great time for a mini-day off from the norm. Glad we were able to get into Disney through Wendy's friends since we don't have APs anymore :sad2:

Thanks Yuki. Ashlyn is our little angel (when she isn't being a tempest). It's funny how weather is so changing in Los Angeles. Last weekend it was totally wet and cold (below 50 degrees) and this Saturday it's sunny and warm (about 70 degrees). I'm not complaining but we outfitted Dylan in rain boot because the forecast was for 100% rain but instead we got 0% rain. Go figure.:confused3

We have TWO of those little girls in our family too! And the kicker is, they KNOW how cute they are!

I don't think I can trust weather forecasts anymore. They seem to be more and more innacurate at predictions. Our weather over here has also been fluctuating a lot. Is it global warming?

Just dropped by to see if there was any news on Jordan. :confused3 I think he was supposed to make it through graduation this week. Hope he is doing well! :thumbsup2 Still thinking of and praying for his continued progress! :cheer2:

Jordan posted on Facebook today!!! He flew back to California.

Yeah, I can complain, this weekend was warm and sunny just like California should be!

Thanks Marv, sorry for not keeping you guys in the loop. Jordan is enroute now (about 5 minutes until landing) and will be home shortly. (Wendy just left to pick him up at Los Angeles International Airport). We should have more news soon!
