The new cast of Dancing With The Stars

I didn't think that William's dance was "all that". Watching Val dance to Tears of a Clown (which I hate), he's way more sexy.

I agree and I don't think their cha cha was all that good, sliding across the floor is not dancing.

I just need to unbox the turntable, receiver and speakers and unpack the albums (I'll bet this statement just confused an entire generation).
We still HAVE a turntable, a receiver, records and giant 2 1/2' speakers in our living room :rotfl:. The receiver is new and the speakers were refurbished by my DH about 5 years ago. Sadly, the cassette player is no longer with us.

I'm here! I has stuff to do for the first hour and just turned on the TV to see Melissa and Maks. Melissa was a LOT better! And I loved her dress :).

....I really can't STAND her and I hope she goes soon - however, she did a LOT better last night; it was her best dance to date. :thumbsup2

I agree. DD16 loves Mark but I think he is too corny. I really dislike his facial expressions.

His outfits last night were awful, just like the rest of them have been. Over the last few seasons his outfits are more misses then hits. The shoes he's wearing this year, or am I just noticing them more this year, are uck. And he can lose the hats. I liked him with Kristy and Shawn, but he has gone downhill from those two partners.

I'm still waiting for him to do the paso doble. Now that should be hot!

The day they do the paso, the live audiance will lose their collective minds. Carrie Anne will be a puddle of goo in her chair.

Can someone tell me why Roshon didn't win?

I liked his rumba, but the judges pretty much picked it apart. For his age, I thought he got into the feel of the dance and did it very well. Len was harsh in his comments.

LOL.... We still have DH's stero set that he bought back in 87. Sounds just like your set up, but the dual cassette player still works on ours. The care DH gave to the whole set up when we moved last month, I think he handled those pieces with more care than my boxes of precious moments figures.

Did anybody else watch the 20/20 special that was on after the show? I really don't think I would want to be on the production staff of this show. They showed the clip of Bruno in Elton Johns video again. I get a good laugh every time I see that video.

....I'd say she's pretty much THERE already.....popcorn::

I was talking about his cha cha. I thought it was really good and the judges tapped him out while William hammed it up instead of dancing. I personally thought Roshon was the best cha cha last night.

...even Jaleel's was better than William's....:confused3

....well THIS was more like a slide than a dance, but who cares:

....;)

Last night was interesting. I thought Roshon got robbed a bit and Len's cranky pants were certainly on too tight.

Melissa and Maks rub me the wrong way. It's like two divas trying to get along. I can't stand them together. Melissa seems like she's trying too hard to be likable.:confused3 And her dancing, while improving slightly, is jarring to watch. I feel like she's running through the routine at a hundred miles an hour.

Katherine is amazing to watch. She's ridiculously talented. Too bad her partner is creepy Mark. He's distracting when he dances, I keep waiting for one of his appendages to come flying off, he's so flipping spazzy.

Jaleel is ok but he reminds me of one of those guys who seem nice on the outside but are real jerks on the inside. But he can dance pretty well. Hope he doesn't win though, especially after I read about his temper tantrum with Kym.

Oh, Donald is awesome! I felt like too was robbed last night. His and Peta's dance was great! I really like him, hope he goes all the way to the top.

I also like Gladys but I think it's time for her to go. She's just not as smooth as the other dancers though of course she's much older then them. But I do like watching her, she looks like she's having the time of her life.

Who's left? Oh, Maria is good but I thought she had a better week last week. This one was ok but I think she's improving and she and Derek seem really good together.

...because it's BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that the judges don't WANT him to...:confused3

I agree with all of the quoted. the judges just don't want Roshon to win, so they are skewing the voters to not vote for him. so obvious. and it makes me mad.
I also thought his Cha Cha was good, and said the same thing about William. he wasn't dancing, he was playing to the crowd.

we gave all our votes to Roshon, hopefully he won't go home tonight.

Sometimes I am wondering if I am watching the same show as the judges.

Roshon's rumba was da bomb. I loved it. They were mean to him.

As for the dance-off. Yeah Roshon did awsome but so was Donald. They were really tearing it up. There really seems to be a lot of bias this year. Ok there is a lot of bias every year but it's really pissing me off this year.

And while William is HAWT, his dance last night not so much (both of them).

Oh and I LOVE how the big make-up happened between Jaleel and Kym since last week buttgate was all over the internet.
