The new build your own ear hat at Chapeau MK

Does anyone have any photos of the offerings? I'd like to have some ideas before I leave...lots of time...not going until end of September...lol!

Funny... when I was just there in Feb, I don't remember seeing the Build-Your-Own @ Chapeau in MK. They do the embroidery and had a huge selection, but I didn't see the parts/pieces.

However, I DID see them @ Downtown Disney in the other side of The Art of Disney store (where they have scrapbooking stuff, art supplies and the like). I have no pictures, but lemme see if I can remember...

Ears:

Gold & Silver, Black with lights, pink fuzzy, black, red, Minnie, pink, purple, glittery (pink & white), green, white bridal, satin black.... seems like there was another color of fuzzy - maybe white?

Hat bases:

Red polka dot, Steamboat Willie, Standard black, Mickey pants, green, pink, purple, princessie, bridal..... seems like there were more! I can't remember!

Some of the hats also had places to add stuff like lights or tiaras or characters and whatnot.

They also have lots of patches and things to put on the front. I wish I were computer savvy...I'd post a picture of my son's last pair. He picked a black hat, with black ears that looked like fireworks on them. Also, the patch he picked out for the middle had 2008, a castle patch on one side of that, and a MM patch on the other side. I'll post a picture if I can figure it out!!

Also, I've noticed you can have them embroidered with nicer "block" style lettering in the Studios. Is there anywhere else that does this? Particularily in the MK or DTD? We usually have them made in the MK, but last time the embroidery (thin, script style) didn't turn out as nice. We've always had them made in MK since it's always the first park we hit and the kids want ears right away for their pictures. However, the night before, when we arrive in town, we always go to DTD...I could have nicer ones made there if there is such a place??? Thanks in advance...

Maybe they took advantage of the subject to change without notice clause. I want to budget for this in the fall if it seems worthwhile. If someone is going there in the next little bit, maybe they will take some pics for all of us...if it's actually available in MK....
