The New and Improved Official Home of The Tagliarchy!

Thanks for the donuts llebrekniT. I'm one step ahead of you with the color wheel - I added the TAG FAIRY to it yesterday. Of course the TAG FAIRY got the place of honor, first spot in the list. :teeth:

Cheeringmom, I think this is the link you were trying to post. http://channels.netscape.com/ns/cel...column=/becksmith_jsp/content/cel20031127.htm

Did you ever get packed Tigger Fans!? You're almost as good at procrastinating as I am. By the way,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIGGER FANS!

And have a wonderful and safe and healthy trip to WDW. I loved spending my birthday there. Don't forget to get a birthday pin from City Hall on Main Street....wear it and be proud! You'll also receive many birthday greetings and some treats too!

OK, got to go to work....at least the bosses are all out of town today, so the peons will rule!

Morning everyone!!!

Tigger Fans!, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You must be getting sooo excited. I am still sooo JEALOUS. Maybe you'll see my DSIL (the one I like) while you are there. She is staying at the GF with my brother, nephew-11 & two neices-6 and 1. The littlest will be turning 1 on the 12th, their first official day at the parks!! She'll be having her birthday breakfast at CP. I am soo jealous. DD-Lainie is turning 1 on the 8th & we'll be here in KY. Oh well, maybe for her 2nd birthday!

Have a great day everyone. I've got to get DS-Josh's towel into the dryer before we head to swimming class!

....the packing update.....the laundry is done (I needed my favorite pair of jeans) ::yes:: and there is a BUNCH of stuff on the floor next to my suitcase! For my next feat I will actually begin putting things INSIDE the suitcase! :wizard: (Well, I'll do that right after I run to the store to get the book DS wants for the trip.)

I would watch those suitcases, they tend to snap shut on your leg when you aren't looking (something about a Tigger Trap)

It's raining again.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_2.gif' border=0></a> Plus it's cold.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_9.gif' border=0></a> Plus I have to go the grocery store. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_9_5.gif' border=0></a> I have been to the grocery store everyday this week and run out of time to finish my list every time. Then I come home and think of more stuff I need to get and the list gets filled up again. It's a cycle I must break free of!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_1_104.gif' border=0></a>

Geffric, I've been using www.smileycentral.com lately. It's quicker than the other site. RRBB has been using some cute smilies too. Where do you get 'em RRBB?

Has Bichon Barb left for Florida yet?

Tigger Fans! - I've noticed everyone sending birthday wishes your way so - <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/13/13_4_3.gif' border=0></a> When is the actual birthday?

I'm so excited about Ella's 1st birthday being at WDW. At first I felt bad going during her birthday, but we are having breakfast with Pooh bear (and Tigger, of course) at CP and dinner with Mickey and Minnie at CM on her big day! I've mentioned her birthday with every PS I made, so looks like we'll be celebrating it everyday we're there.

Has anyone ever had the seafood buffet at Cape May at the Yacht and Beach Club? We have a PS there, but I'm considering trying to get one at Rose and Crown instead.

HuggaBaloo, the general rule is - if the opportunity presents itself, then yes, absolutely GO!!! I am so happy just being there. I don't care if I ride a thing. Anyway since you don't have to wait in lines with kids, it's not nearly as bad as it is for those of us who have to do that. Everybody needs to go at Christmas time at least once. That being said, we're going next week in hopes of missing the crowds.:teeth:

Before I go I'll just leave this stack of $20's right here by the computer. Help yourself TAG FAIRY!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_5_6.gif' border=0></a>

P.S. Thanks for adding the TAG FAIRY RRBB. You're the best!

Hey, I just noticed that I almost have 600 posts already! Since I'm hold with Disney I will go ahead and try and make it to 600 now.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_112.gif' border=0></a>

Hmmmmmm. What else should I say?

I know. I've been feeling really bad that while I'm gone to WDW, my DSIL will have surgery on her eye. I really wanted her family to go with us, but it just didn't work out. Now on top of not being able to go, she has to have surgery. So while I'm away, you guys take good care of her for me. She promised to post daily trip reports for me so I don't have to do one when I get back.:teeth:

Who wants to volunteer to put together cliff notes of the goings on at the Tagliarchy for me and TiggerFans? I can barely keep up with you guys if I miss a day, don't know what I'll do to catch up after a whole week.

Now I'm on hold again. Checking to see if there's a charge for a mini-fridge or not. She's back, no charge for fridge.:bounce:

Gotta run!:wave2:

DSIL has told me the same thing. There is a message that comes up that says you can't use them, but at the bottom it says CLICK HERE to add a smiley. If you do that and then do CTRL V in your post, it pops up for me.

Good luck!

Mornin' everyone! :wave2:

Another HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish to Tigger Fans!!!! And have fun on your trip!

Well, I should have known better than to ask <b>you</b> guys if I should try to go to WDW or not! Of <b>course</b> you'd tell me to go! ;) That's not how the "checks and balances" system is supposed to work, ya know. But I guess that's where my More Practical Partner comes in. I wasn't able to talk to him about it last night. He was not in the best of moods and he was not feeling too well, so I'll try again tonight.

But, after researching rates, I realized (duh!) that after X-mas is the "Costly Season" (or whatever they call it)...which lasts through 12/31/03. And then they have such great savings starting on 1/1/03. My parents (not <b>me</b>, mind you, but my parents who haven't been to WDW in over 15 years) received a postcard informing them that the Deluxe resorts would be available starting at $109/night. And I know the Value resorts are now advertised at $55/night. I'm really tempted to try to go in January instead. But here's the "problem" (in quotes because some of you may not see this as a problem):

I work at an educational institution. I'm not a teacher, so I don't get all the time off that they get, but our school is officially closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2 (two weeks). This is why I thought it would be a good idea to go during this time (but I wanted to spend time with our families the week <b>of</b> X-mas). If we can go in January, then I'll have to actually take time off for it...but it will be much cheaper. But, it will be fairly busy at work since everyone will have been off for two weeks and it's the start of the new semester.

Added to all of this is the fact that, since we will most likely be moving there in the coming months, my partner and I have been wanting to plan to go look around (and so he can meet with some folks from the schools he's looking into). But, I sort of wanted to wait until I had a job interview so we could do it all at once (it's not a fun drive from here to Orlando to have to do it more than necessary...plus the time off, etc.). I also have a feeling my More Practical Partner will say something like: "Why don't we wait until we live there to go to WDW...then it'll be a <b>lot</b> cheaper...and we can save the money for something else." He would probably be referring to rent or his education or something trivial like that...

 :scratchin  :scratchin

Sorry to bother you guys with all of this stuff that is not really all that important in the grand scheme of things. I knew I shouldn't even have started thinking about it as a possibility. That's how I get myself into trouble! ::yes::

It's a secret.

Actually some I've copied from other sites, some I've modified from smilies I copied off other sites, and others I've made myself.

HuggaBaloo Have you ever been to WDW at Christmas? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_2_73.gif' border=0></a>

If not, I'd say, once again, GO FOR IT!!! It is totally magical. I got tears in my eyes when it started "snowing" at the Osbourn lights festival. I was holding my 2 yr old and just started boo hooing seeing her face light up at the "snow"
It is crowded but so much fun.

I don't want to break the bank so if not this year, start planning for next!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_2_4.gif' border=0></a>

I forgot to mention in my longwinded post that we did go last year around the 2nd week in December. We went to MK, which was <b>wonderful</b>, and EPCOT, which was <b>not</b> (due to pouring down rain, non-operational attractions and no street performers, etc. in the World Showcase).

We did not do the Candlelight Processional (is that right?) or the Osborne (sp?) Lights, but we did go around to several of the resorts to see the decorations (<b>loved WL and AKL!</b> ::yes:: ).

So, to answer your question...yes we have, but there was much more we would have liked to have seen. I just can't get over the fact that we could spend 5-6 nights there in January for the cost of 2-3 in December! Not to mention the fact that we could get a really good deal on a Moderate or Deluxe resort (we have never stayed at either).

Ok <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_105.gif' border=0></a> trying it out.

how is everyone in Tagliarchy World today!

Smiley Central won't let me put any on this page :(

Hugabaloo - work will always be there when you get back! I say go for the good rate quiet times! I am sure someone else can shed light on this - but the x-mas decorations may still be up if you go early enough too!

I can't beilieve that I am contemplating going to DIS 6 1/2 months prego in late April and I have gestation diabetes - so that means nada to my favorite rides and just can't do it to my favorite foods! AUGH
