We always fly to WDW. It's only about a 2 hour flight, and when you include the time to get to the airport/check-in time/etc., it's about 5 hours. But if we were to drive I think it would be more like 2 days - each way. I'd rather spend that time in the parks than on the road.

(Last time we were there, a cousin of mine drove us through Celebration. We looked at a few of the model homes. Now we're just waiting to win the lottery. )

Speed Weasel, I have a splitting headache, but I have to One up you...in the Kona Cafe, at the Poly, they have a huge Chocolate sculpture of Eliot from Pete's Dragon. He looked almost too good to eat.

I am not sure what happened as I haven't paid any attention to this tag fairy stuff but suddenly there are colored quotes of my own below my name. Is that from the tag fairy and do I have to do something in return. I don't understand!!! Have I gone insane?

That's all you have to do! You have been tagged....was it a triple hit? My tag was a triple hit also.

IMPORTANT, do NOT go in to your user CP and try to add your own tag.....it will DELETE what the tag fairy(s) put there.

Thank you tag fairy...who ever you may be. I would send chocolates or home made Christmas candy but I don't know where fairie's live...except the one in Never Never land.

Bichon Barb We always drive to WDW. It takes us about 10 hours driving from the Chattanooga area (counting stops for gas and food). Which we'll be doing Saturday morning! Woo HOOOOOO!

My In-laws have been known to do that, but at 1100+ miles (18-19 hours in the car)...absolutely not! My father keeps telling me that the adventure in life is the journey...but when the destination is WDW, how much better can the journey be?

Hi TNCarole! The Boy From Oz was pretty good but not one of my favorites. The first act was pretty slooooow but Hugh Jackman was amazingly talented. He truly makes the show. Who knew Wolverine could sing and dance?

We had also seen Wicked just a couple of days prior. Now THAT was an absolutely excellent show! The story was incredibly entertaining and the sets and costumes really blow you out of your seat. If anyone is coming to town and wants a recommendation, that'd be the one to see hands down.

Thank you all for your kind wishes and the yummy cake. I am so glad you are all my friends. We are planning on going to see HM tonight as a Birthday surprise.

Oh well, here is another cake in the shape of Mickey. I will leave it in the freezer because it is an Ice-Cream Cake, and has Mickey Bar Flavored Ice Cream.

OK, I sent out my fruit-cake order. I got a call yesterday on my cell phone. They wanted to know where a certain group was (I sent my stock-broker one) and he is in El Paso. I gave him the phone number and address then asked how he was going to get there...his area code was from the Miami area. One never knows...
