There are a couple of sites we've used - http://autopedia.com/html/ColorCalculator.html?o=0 and http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/big.html to choose our colors. The only unwritten "rule" we've agreed on is no duplicates. One other thing to keep in mind, light colors are hard to read.

Hi everybody! I was missing in action all weekend because I was playing with one of my birthday gifts....the LOR:Two Towers extended coverage DVD. Never left the couch! Had to watch it three times....regular extended movie, cast commentary version and director/writers commentary version, plus all the documentaries! The LOR:Fellowship extended version is on it's way from Amazon, so guess what I'll be doing Turkey weekend!

Speaking of turkeys, I'll be having dinner (noonish) at a resort with a group of 10. Should be great fun (good group of friends/extended family) and we may eat on the patio if the weather holds. It's just my DSis and DBIL here with me in Phoenix so we usually round up friends and orphans and do group outings unless we have out of state family visiting. I did buy a turkey to cook this weekend 'cause they're so cheap, so I'll be eating of that for a while

Laura - I've been known to drive up to Sedona for lunch! It is so beautiful up there.....if anyone wants to come on out just let me know, I'm always ready to play tour guide!

How is everyone? I've been trying to keep up with the posts. You all have been busy.

For Thanksgiving, we are going over to a friends. No one wants to go however . They want to be non sociable. Its hard being nomads. All of the family is in CA. Too much $ to fly all five us out there every holiday. So we spend the holidays with friends. No cooking for me this year. Our hostess says she wants to do it all! I say "hear, hear and "wheres the wine!!

Thx Robin ... everyone is so sweet here... well I am hosting for Thanksgiving...like every other year...my in laws, sil and her boyfriend, my dh's cousin, my dh's friend (who is single and leaving for the desert on Friday ) No real family traditions...just the family getting together and enjoying the day......I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving


so what kind of snacks do we have?? I hear there's usually some chocolate going around..I love chocolate

Oh yeah, LOTS of chocolate. Usually something like chocolate pancakes or chocolate waffles or chocolate chip bagels with chocolate chip cream cheese for breakfast. Oh, and chocolate donuts are often found around here in the mornings, too. In the evenings you'll usually be tempted with stuff like chocolate truffles or Wonka bars. And there seems to be a bottomless mug of hot cocoa around here, too. Occassionally there will be offerings of healthier meals and snacks, but that's the exception rather than the rule. On that note, I have some homemade pizza to share for dinner. And for dessert a handful (or two) of chocolate covered almonds.

Checking in for the evening.. and bringing a little bed time snack.....Oreo cheesecake, French Silk pie and Hot fudge sundaes with chocolate chip ice cream...

DS #2 is practicing his drums, DS #1 and DH are at Boy Scout meeting, and i am cleaning the light fixtures, evicting the spiders, and relocating the dust bunnies ... when I am done maybe i'll start on the basement and see if I can find the game table underneath the LEGO pieces..

I just got home from choir practice, where I picked up a treatie the Tag Fairy might like... chocolate covered caramel popcorn (courtesy of the Boy Scouts). YUM. There is no bad there.

So much to read.....RRBB told you that we generally do the early dinner thing with my family, Growing up I used to go to my cousin's house (she is older than my parents) and my extended cousins and I used to finish dinner early, sneak into the Master Bedroom and watch Willy Wonka and the Cholcolate Factory. That may be why Nephosaurus found the movie in my collection.

Another holiday tradition is our Employee party. My office usually has a Brunch on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and we celebrate my Birthday. I can tell you some great stories about this...but I am not sure I should....This year we are doing a Dinner instead.

DizzieDizney, Welcome. I think we will all be your friends here... I have to ask, the mold that I am having removed from my house, does it have any liability? I would love something to sue...
Just kidding, but it sounds like you have a thankless job. This is a place where nobody judges you, a place where the chocolate is seemingly endless (but stay away from the bottle of chocolate milk in the fridge, it has gotten a few of us sick) and the clapping would wear out that light switch..Clap On...Clap Off with the Clapper.

Pick a color to add to our color wheel for yourself and chill for a while. Hopefully a Tag Fairy will swoop down and tag you.

BTW, anyone see Mad4Mickey around? She hasn't picked a color yet...Do you think RickinNYC might have hurt her with his wand? Do we need a DB Intervention......

Hey I also think we need to update the list of artifacts... Nephosaurus used his Chrystal Ball recently for his list, Somebody keeps paging poor CourtasanSatine on her Kimunicator. I think Deadheadbelle has been playing the albums backwards...and somebody keeps blasting Pixie dust from a Tommy gun.....I will ask Nephosaurus to look up tha last list.....

I have it on good authority (ohanafamily) that you have to petition the Tagliarchy. And to be granted an artifact someone has to second the "nomination". You might also need a third. (Since ohanafamily has chosen to scarf down the bedtime snack, crawl into bed and cover his head, it's hard to understand him at the moment. I'm sure he will give you a better answer in the morning.)

TNCarole, I have digested my snack and woken up. I have no problem with letting you have the Hand Bells of the Tagliarchy, but you have to supply your own. A picture might be nice Bichon Barb found some nice Chalices on E-bay and posted pics for us to choose which would be more Taglyicious. But we need a second to and a general approval....

Mad4Mickey.....you have to choose your color. Look on the top of page 65, and there is the wheel as it stands currently/ there are 2 links on the bottom of RRBB's post that go to two color selectors. I like the Autopia one because many of the color names work here on the Tagliarchy. Also, regarding your photo dilemma, if you have the negatives, you can take them back to the place you had them developed and have a CD made. They may charge you a premium since they have already cut the negatives, but they shouldn't have a problem putting just the ones you want on a CD. then you could post them on Imagestation or one of the other sites....If you want to mail them to me or RickinNYC We can also scan them for you; but I would try to get a CD made from the negatives first (it is a better picture quality)
