Ohanafamily, I went to your sight and got the pink (top one) there, but for the rest I used [color=9932cc]RRBB's[/color] sight.

Again, what am I doing here? I have to get back to work. Laundry is backing up and I must clean the house, I must clean the house, I must clean the house. (I have to keep telling myself this or I'll forget.) And did I mention that although my Christmas shopping is almost done I want to have it all wrapped by Thanksgiving?

BTW, [color=9400d3]deadheadbelle[/color] I read your post a few pages back about buying too much for the kids at Christmas. I confess, I do it too. We don't buy them much unless it's for their birthdays or a special reward for something they've done, so Christmas tends to be a big blow-out. My parents were the same way, big spenders at Christmas, tight as an acorn the rest of the year. The kids have been thinning out what they don't need/or play with for our local church charity house and they are very good about giving things up. We also do Toys for Tots and I play "secret Santa" for each of their classrooms and buy something to be given as a door prize to one girl and one boy in each of their classes that may not otherwise have a good Christmas. We always rig the drawing so that the right child gets the special gift. (I never tell the kids that part.)

Wrapping with Ella awake is not going to work, so I need to do it while she naps.

Good morning all. Congrats on the promo Rikku!

My DS's birthday is 11/19 -- the day before deadheadbelle's. He'll be 10 (going on 13). Anyway, it looks like there are a lot of November birthdays, and a lot of almost one year olds. Tee-hee! I love that age. And I think I remember hearing some pretty names for DDs on this thread. So...

How about this as the new question: What are your kids' and furkids' names, and how old are they?

Bichon Barb's kids are:

Eric Jonathan - will be 10 on 11/19 - fifth grade

Hunter Perry - will be 8 on 1/17 - second grade

Otto Von Snotto Bichon - will be 4 on 1/22

Beanie the Meanie Bichon - will be 1 on 2/22

(our school cut off date is 12/1, so although they are 2 years and 2 months apart, they are 3 grades apart--just some useless information )

1) get one
2) don't get a HP (mine takes great still shots but if anyone is moving in the picture it comes out blurry - makes me mad after shelling out $300 for a camera and then more $$$ for the memory card)

Nieceosaurus and Nephosaurus are 3 years old. We don't know when they were "born" so we celebrate their birthdays on their adoption day which is sometime in September. (Don't tell them, but I can't remember the exact date, I have to go find my CC statement.)

I don't have any human kids yet. I just have a furkid of the feline variety. Her name is Tucha (Russian word for "cloud") and she's picked up the last name Underfoot because, well, she's always underfoot. We got Tucha from a shelter and she won't tell us her exact date of birth. We do know she was approx. 8 months old when we got her in July. The vet gave her a birthday: 12/04/02.

Our little one is Louie. Though we don't know his birthday, we decided it would be the same as my birthday (June 22 in case you want to mark it on your calendars ). You see, he showed up on our front porch the day before.

And, for those of you who are fairly new to the Tagliarchy, I <b>am</b> talking about a dog. Our vet estimates his age at 2, but he sometimes acts like he is just a young'n. Of course, I could say the same about my partner.

Also, I used to have this pet hamster named Rufus...but we all know how that story ends, don't we Ohanafamily and [color=333333]CourtasanSatine[/color]?!?!


Rikku, congrats on the promotion. I think you should buy us all a round! That's how that works, right?

I will not get out of this here town. I guess it is rather coincidental, though. Lainie was born on my Dad's birthday. We had thought about naming her Abby, but we knew we wanted the middle name to be Sayers (family name) and our last name starts with an "S" so we were afraid she may someday want something with her initials monogrammed on it...surely you see the problem that would arise . Now, of course, we cannot imagine her being anything but "Lainie". I really need to get my film develped & get a CD so I can post pics.

As for DS, he was due on June 24th. Everyone says "oh, don't you wish he would have been born on the 4th"....Heck No!!! I was about to freak out as it was! It's a good thing I didn't go another day, Josh was 9 lbs., 13 ounces! I am about 5'4" & before getting pregnant the 1st time, I weighed about 125, so he about killed me!!! No, I did not have a C-section. Oh, the pain. For those of you who have not had kids, the rumors are not true, YOU NEVER FORGET THE PAIN OF CHILDBIRTH. Which is why DH thought I was nuts when I said I was ready to try for another baby. BTW, Lainie was born 3 weeks early & was only 6 lbs, 13 ounces. Much easier!

We have a lot of November birthdays in our family - to start with mine and ohanafamily's. Then there's his brother's and SIL's, a nephew on his side of the family and a niece on mine. Oh yeah, and a BIL on my side of the family. Geez that's at least one a week (1, 2, 5, 8, 11, 21, 26) this month. As for overlapping with holidays, every few years ohanafamily's birthday falls on Thanksgiving. And a nephew whose birthday is in December occassionally falls during Hanukkah.
