As to your second point, there are actually hundreds of colors to choose from if you use the number code instead of the color description. I have several sites bookmarked, but this is the simplest to use. VisiBone Webmaster's Color Laboratory You have to type in [ color=(the code for the color you want here)] before the text you want to color and [ /color] after it - leaving out the spaces between the brackets of course.

BTW, I never said one color to a customer, I just said that it would be easier to spot our names being used if we kept the color consistent. I also have a problem with seeing the very light colors (like Yellow) on my screen.

Loike I said good to be back. I didn't get to meet Ibouncetoo. The baby was sick the first half of the trip and my dh left on Wed. so I was a little under staffed at that point to run around the world. But I'm sure she had a great time. By the looks of her itinerary, she ate good!! Shoot, we didn't eat anywhere that didn't have hot dog on the menu!!heheh. but we did do a few character breakfasts.

The CR wasn't what I had expected but thats for another board.

I am dealing with a pouting Dragon. RRBB caught up to him last night and gave him a bath. he HATES the dryer. I am encouraging him to post a report on the "Disney-Like ride" as RRBB billed it...

First, I was typing away on the computer. I came out of my hiding place to check the boards. I have to do my job as the official Dragon, right? She sneaked up behind me. All in a second, my pants were off, a pillowcase was thrown over my head, and I was sealed in. I heard this "Don't Worry [color=009900]Nephosaurus[/color], it is just like a ride at Disney...and your sister loves the bubbly bath...

You can actually see the light outside through the pillowcase, but then the top clanged shut. The water started rushing in. It is a good thing I know how to hold my breath. The water was up to my eyes when suddenly the water started rolling. There is a special thin called an agitator that belongs on the debate board. It makes the water move and the other things in me kept pushing me around. [color=7fff00]Huggabaloo[/color], If the debate board is anything like this, I don't know why you like it so much...After the "Agitation" part, the whole walls start to spin. I was pinned to that wall with centrifugal force. This ride lasted over 30 minutes, and this was the OK part.

I was given a choice (not really) Hang outside by my toes for 3 days, or or go into the DRYER. I started to say I want to hang by my toes, but was betrayed by OhanaFamily. He said that with all of the mold in the house it would not be healthy for me to "Line Dry". So Back into the pillowcase I went (kicking and screaming) Around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around

for over an hour! It finally beeped, I came out of the bag (tried to run for it) and was told I wasn't dry yet.

Back in for another 45 minutes!!!!!

and after this whole ordeal, RRBB kept telling me how pretty I smell. YUK, I am a BOY Dragon, GIRL Dragons smell Purty!!!!!

One last thing, I do love Wonka Chocolate, but I am green, so I will take the green you picked OhanaFamily. BTW, do you know whate the color number means? I and curious (and you think I can be long winded...)

Background...why Hexadecimal...
A computer is actually a complex system of "Off" and "ON" switches. In order to get a larger number into the computer it uses sets of 8 switches (called Octets) that can give you a number from 0-255 if represented as a Binary Number. Since long streams of 0's and 1's are difficult to make out, and the decimal equivalent has to be converted, early programmers (like me) became fluent in the use of base 16 (or hexadecimal) Each digit (0-9,A,B,C,D,E, and F) represents 4 bits, so there is an easy direct translation). We had to do this in order to compute how to program in Assembly Language (what the machines think in). Why is this important? the original data collectors (things that needed to bring an analog number into a digital computer) were all 8 bits (you got it now...0-255 in decimal) and when the computer would send out a signal to a color monitor it sent out 3 digital numbers to tell the analog television what color was supposed to be there. This is where the term RGB Monitor came from. So the computer sent a Red, Green, and Blue value to the monitor. If you have been watching closely you might have seen that there are 3 sets of 2 hexadecimal digits...the first one is Red, second Green, and third Blue. So the number FF0000 is pure red. It is so pure that your printer won't be able to print it right, but that is another story). The number 00FF00 is pure green, etc...

OK, I tried to keep it short so no ones head explodes, and there is a lot more to how computers work and store numbers. This is a basic explanation for the people who are curious. I will be more than happy the expound further in a PM...



Oh, and in case you are curious, a 7 digit phone number converts to a hexadecimal number that is usable for a color, but most of the ones I have tried come out green...

Ohanafamily, I went to bed chuckling (yes chuckling) with the vision of Nephosaurus trying to make splashy sounds in my head. I bet that was cute. Sometime little Ella finds her way into the bathroom and if someone didn't remember to put the lid down, she likes to make little splashy sounds in the water.
