I'm still on page 1 but I can't wait to get in on this one! I started getting all excited that I would have your report to read the week leading up to my trip but then saw you'll actually still be there my first few days there. Maybe we'll "bump" into each other!
I just checked and you are doing the P&PP the same night I am and also AK on your last Sunday which is my park of choice that morning. So it may be that we see each other around ;0)

For some reason I can't relax and do nothing - DBF's mother is always telling me, put the laptop/book down and just relax but I can't do it I NEED to do something, and of course it helps when it's Disney!!

I just found your TR - you are so cute with your excitement and little itinerary cards!!! The time will fly by and soon you'll be in Disney! I'm going back to WDW in October, and the wait is killing me!

Congrats on finishing exams! I just finished law school and am now studying for the bar exam. It's terrible, mostly because it's so boring. As I understand it, you can get a four-year degree and practice law in the UK (an LLB)? Here in the US we have to do 7 years of school to practice law (bletch!). How long do you have left?

Also, I'm jealous that you've been to DLP. I've been to Paris but didn't make it there and I want to go so badly now!

Anyway, great report so far and I can't wait to read more!

Hi! Thanks for reading!

Unfortunately it's 6 years to practice here in the UK - a loooong time isn't it! We have to do the LLB Law degree for 3 years at University, then the LPC (Legal Practice Course) for 1 year, and then obtain a Training Contract (the hardest bit!) with a Law Firm for 2 years - and then you can become a solicitor and practice. To be a barrister - it's the LLB again for 3 years, then the BVC (Bar exams) for 1 year, and then obtain a Pupillage (again v.hard) in a chambers for 6 months non-practicing and 6 months practicing - however there's so much competition and it's so intense.

I have an interview for a PhD next month, so that's 3-4 years and depending on how much I like the academics I might stay to lecture or go on to do the LPC (will however will add another 3 years - Noooooo!!)

I LOVE Paris - I think I could live there! DLP is great in it's own quirky little way and great for a quick Disney fix this side of the pond - however compared to WDW, well... you know how it goes! I think once they've put some new rides in it'll be better! That doesn't stop me going there though

I'm so jealous that you've been to Tokyo Disney! I'd love to go to Japan I'm off to read your TR now!!

Wow, what time do you get to WDW?

Our flight gets in at 11pm! So we won't pass. But good thing you got some lime green Mickey heads so other Disers will recognize you!

I've not been on much past few days as I've been busy busy busy making itinerary cards (I got the wonderful idea from Cinderella16 - another mention - it seems I've been borrowing all of her ideas lately, and boy does she have some good ones!) - photos up shortly!

I just started working on mine, too! It takes a lot of time but they look so cute! That was a great idea Cinderella16 had!!

I photocopied the maps straight out of my passporter and trimmed them as I think they are soooo handy! There's a lot on them little maps! I am between 2 minds to laminate them - but I made 2 copies, so I might laminate 1 and keep the other as it is.

Great idea! I am going to have to do the same. Also, I like your idea of putting maps on the back of the cards. Both great ideas I have to use~!!

Me, too! I'm sure you already know about this site. But I heard about this site on the Dis Tagrel.com ~ They have a section with Cast Member appreciate cards that you can use for Mousekeeping or just other cast members that spread the magic while you are there!

Isn't it exciting how fast the days are going by!? And I really think that planning is some of the fun of going

You are an amazing planner!!! The itinerary cards are great. I just read through your whole trip report and love it. 3 weeks - that sounds so wonderful.

We really want to go to Discovery Cove one day so I can't wait to see your pics of that. We've also talked about planning a longer trip with Universal Studios as a portion of the trip for years down the road when my son is a bit older.

I can't wait to read more!!

Yep I do now have a template, although I'm hoping to make a better one soon so it's easier for others to adapt to their own needs I'm sure Cindy will want to help when she's back too!

I would also like to tell all readers of my trip report....

...I FOUND OUT TODAY I GOT A 2.1 IN MY DEGREE! I am so over the moon, I can't believe my hard work has paid off and I get to graduate with a 2.1!!! It still hasn't quite hit home yet!
