Great day 3 and 4 plans! Of course my vote goes for Starring Rolls for lunch so I can see more pics of the yummy cupcakes and salivate all over my computer screen!

Ooh looking forward to hearing about GFC and I think a lot of people are happy about this resort building DVC!

I am leaning towards it because it will be a nice lighter lunch I think. But I don't know, I'm not a HUGE sandwich person. But the cupcakes definitely help it tip the scales...

I'm absolutely thrilled about DVC being built. I was so happy when they built BLT because I love my monorail resorts.

DVC at the Grand Floridian is going to be awesome! It'll be a while before I ever get the chance to stay there, I'm sure but still can't wait.

Don't forget the ring-toss Easter egg in Toy Story Mania: If you get rings around all the aliens before any regenerate, the rocket blasts off and leaves you with 500 and 1000-point buckets to toss rings into. So much fun!

Oh, I never knew that! I'm going to have to remember that for April.

We're at 10 days now!

I did online check in today. I wanted to make sure that I was able to let the resort know that we're not arriving until very late (or very early, depending on how you want to look at it). I think I have this level of paranoia that they're going to wonder where on earth we are. Stupid, I know.

I have rented a car! I was able to get a sweet sweet rate with Alamo and get the car for the entire week for $130 (with taxes!). I was already paying $50 to rent for one day to go to Universal, so this made me very very happy. No need to wait around for ME at the airport.

Haven't started packing yet, but I'm going to over the upcoming weekend. Gotta do laundry too.

Okay, so I need people's opinions. I have a dinner reservation on NYE at Ohana at 9pm. Our plan after that is to be in the park for the festivities. Would you keep that or potentially change it to a slightly earlier time? I'm a little paranoid about getting turned away from the park. I don't know why. Maybe I should just go with it. Let me know what you think. We were planning on DHS, and there was a ressie at the Brown Derby.

The other thing I'm considering is that there are only the two of us, so I couldn't see us being at dinner for any more than an hour tops. Help! I'm rambling now. You don't want me to ramble....

We have Kona booked for now (apparently my bro's gf is coming with us now) but I've been stalking Ohana..ya right lol.

I know MK will close early and Epcot usually takes a while because it's very large but I'm not sure about DHS? It's small but I don't know??

Okay, at least I'm not alone in my paranoia. Fortunately, there was an option with online checkin for "arriving after 11:30pm". I've been stalking changing our flights, it just hasn't worked out.

I'm thinking that we should be able to get into DHS. I'm just stressing over the last minute details.

These are the last three days of our trips. Day 8 is technically only a travel day (boo!) because I couldn't get a reasonable flight change. So we fly back home at 10:30am on Saturday. But that's the sad stuff. On with the good stuff!

Day 5 - Wednesday January 4, 2012

We are venturing off Disney property this day. Not many things can encourage me to do so, but you can guess what is coming.

Farrell is a big HP fan too, so this should be a lot of fun for us. I'm totally excited to see what her reaction to Forbidden Journey will be.

While there, of course we will have to get some Butterbeer!!!

Yummy yummy yummy. I'm excited just thinking about it.

After exploring WWoHP, then it will be off to other areas.

Day 6 - Thursday January 5, 2012

This is going be our Epcot morning!

Which of course means that the first order of business is to head to:

Gotta pick up some fastpasses for sure.

We'll explore further and hopefully get in some other faves.

After shopping and generally having a great time, then we will be off to our dinner reservation at:

Super excited about this one because I have never eaten there before. If anyone has eaten there and has any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to hear from you.

Day 7 - January 6, 2012

Our last day in the World.

Honestly, I don't have much to say about this one. I left the morning completely open. I am going to see what Farrell thinks so we can do some of her favorites in the morning. We'll have to see where the day takes us. The only solid plan we have is our evening plan, where we have a reservation at:

I really really hope that we get a good server. Someone who will make our experience tons of fun.

We'll be spending our last night likely at DHS for EMH.

That's the end of our plans and itinerary. Let me know what you guys think. I'm super excited and can't wait. Only 6 days left until we leave!

I only have three days left until I leave. Three days of work and then it's out of here. I am actually stuck at work right now. It's about 8:30pm. Ugh. Hopefully I should be out of here soon. This was not the way I wanted to start my week, I can tell you that much.

I packed yesterday since I was off of work. Farrell and I decided that we are going to take an extra bag with us, because we're preparing for all kinds of weather. Sadly, our heavier clothes take up too much space.

Flight hasn't changed. I haven't been successful in changing our return either, so we won't be getting any extra time out of it.

I should hopefully be back on to post before we leave.

I'm a little worried about parking on NYE at Poly. My flight doesn't land until 8pm and we're driving straight there for our 9:15pm ADR but last time (July 3rd) we did a similar situation and when we got there, there was zero parking and thankfully I remembered about my TIW discount/free Valet so we did that but this time it's blocked out so no TIW and No Free Valet Oh well, we'll try for our best and if anything we'll pay for the Valet I guess!!!

Nope, no carry-on only for me this time. The last time was just a test to see if I could actually do it. No, this time it's a suitcase and a half, plus my carryon (I say half a suitcase, because Farrell will be sharing it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it).

You might be cutting it a little close for parking. Hopefully they're okay with letting you in there. I have absolutely no experience with Poly on NYE, so I can't say either way how it's going to be. You're right though, worst case scenario you can just valet.

I know! It's been the neverending PTR for sure. I can't wait, I'm so excited.

Her Dad is doing very well. He's back in California and he's on a list for a heart transplant. It's just a matter of waiting, but other than that he's doing very well.
