Wild Gothic Rose feeling a bit thorny today. Even with the Claritin, my allergies have been raging and I want to scratch my face off. Also didn't sleep well because of hot flashes and watering eyes. Just feeling really bad lately.

ETA - and there are some people on the boards that are really getting on my nerves right now. Not on Nuts, but on the boards in general. So I've been laying low.

Good Morning Sweaty Nuts…..

We are on “Heat Watch” here, we are supposed to keep an eye out for our neighbors in case they are struck down by heat related illnesses and need assistance.

So explain to me why when I went into the neighbors ladies house last night because I hadn’t seen her in a while and found her in her bed apparently passed out and proceeded to give her CPR I found my self in handcuffs in the back of a patrol car….that’s the last time I try to be a good neighbor….

FYI;
CPR= Blow in the mouth-Pump on the chest..guess I got it backwards

I can't take claritin or most other allergy meds, OTC or 'script. So I spread my allergy good looks around liberally, NOT a pretty sight!
Are there any other meds you can try?

I though she was un-conscience I had to jump into action and apparently the fact that I though you were supposed to loosen a persons cloth before starting CPR didn't help my case any

I take Claritin and I've never had an issue with it, so I'm leery of trying anything else. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? I think part of it is because I'm overtired.

Bascially my grievances boil down to 2 incidents with campus police, who are worthless, and an incident at graduation Saturday. I know I posted about the one campus police incident last year as it was going on.

Our campus "police" (i.e. George) was worthless, too. He spent his days patrolling the parking lot, ticketing cars who didn't have their permit hanging from the rearview mirror (if it was on the dashboard, you got a ticket).

I do have one good thing to report. Tickets to see Tina Turner went on sale this morning. To my surprise, I had NO problem getting lower level seats! I wonder if she sold out...I personally would think so...
