Hello once again to all my DIS friends! Does it seem like it has been 5 months since our last WDW vacation? Boy time sure does fly. We've somehow made it thru another cold Indiana winter and the sun is finally starting to shine... which means it MUST be time to go back to Disney! We leave in just two days, so the packing has already begun. Stay tuned to this thread for live reports, pictures, and lots of good info to tide you over until your next Disney trip. If you have any questions about the parks, or our resorts this time: Pop Century followed by Old Key West (2 bedroom villa) then please post those at anytime. We are hoping for some great weather, and great FUN!!

The Cast:

Brendan - age 37 - Husband, father, and ESPN Radio sports guy. Loves thrill rides, loves to eat, loves the dining plan, and loves to go to Disney!

Erika - age 35 (turning 36 on the trip!) - Wife, mother, and domestic goddess. Favorite things at WDW: POC, Mickey's Philharmagic, TSM, Soarin', RnR, and all the stage shows, especially Nemo.

Nicholas - age 9 - Videogame addict, future stand-up comedian, loves to have fun, and loves all the rides, especially MS, TT, and the mountains. Favorite snacks are Churros and cookies!

Connor - age 7 - The artistic one, loves all the Kidcot stations, loves any kind of drawing contests at the resorts, loves Small World, Pooh, Buzz, Seas with Nemo, TSM, Dinoland, Legoland, and the HISTK playground.


We are soooo ready to go!!!!!

Ok folks we are just 28 hours away from departure!!

The bags are packed, the itinerary is printed, we'll leave here at Noon tomorrow, drive to the airport for a 3:00 flight. Which puts us in Orlando at 5:30. If all goes smooth on ME I'm hoping we'll be at Pop by 7:30... MK is open until 11:00 so we'll head over there to see what we can get done.

Oops, also forgot to post our Dining Plan ADRs.... the first four days we're winging it, then checking in to OKW on Sunday and doing these:

Teppen Edo - dinner
Mama Melrose - dinner
Sci-fi - lunch
Kona Cafe - dinner
Cape May Cafe - dinner
Crystal Palace - breakfast
Ohana - dinner

I tried and tried but couldn't get Le Cellier this time around.

Thanks for joining in everyone! I just bought a new digital camera last night (mine got broken at the Purdue game) so I'll be sharing my first batch of pics tonight!!! Also I'll let you know about crowds and stuff too.

Oh, and I was the lady that you met at the turnstiles at Epcot in October! We enjoyed meeting you! I noticed in your October trip report we were at MNSSHP the same night too. If you noticed a tall, skinny Santa Claus that night, it was my crazy son!

Well folks, we had a nice flight, arrived 10 minutes early...but now we are in a huge line for ME! All lanes are full, people are laying down asleep, playing cards, this could end up being a very long wait. hopefully we'll be leaving soon!!!

Well, we made it on the ME bus! Total wait time: 45 minutes.

Next stop, POP!

Online check-in is my new best friend! We got off the ME bus, and walked right to the front of the line for check-in while there was quite a long line for the regular side, so that was awesome! All we had to do was give them our name and they handed us our packet... all of my requests had been granted we got building 10, top floor, right near the stairs. LOVE IT!!! I was worried with the online check-in we would get a crummy room location, so this was a big bonus in my opinion.

After dropping our luggage in our room we headed down to the food court to eat dinner and buy mugs. DH and I both had the chicken penne alfredo, DS9 had the kids chicken nuggets, DS7 had the mac n cheese. And of course we couldn't resist stopping off for ice cream on our way back to our room. So now we are settling in, totally exhausted, and ready to get a good night sleep. We brought blowup mattresses for the boys so we won't have to share beds with them. Tomorrow morning is EMH at MK, so we are avoiding that and heading to Epcot. Going to grab FP for Soarin' and TT... then head to Nemo. The boys are dying to try the Kim Possible thingy in the World Showcase, so that should be fun.

We are going to stay at the POP in 3 weeks and we have never stayed there. Where is building 10. I am looking at the map and I don't see building 10. What decade is it in?

Hey folks! we got to Epcot this morning before opening, so once 9:00 came we headed straight to the Land and got Soarin' fast passes ....we got 10:15, so we're riding Living with the Land to kill time until we can ride.

Its a beautiful day and there are lots of people here. But I'm thinking since MK had morning EMH it was worse there.
