Your son's Darth cupcake was our FAVORITE last year. Looking forward to getting another one here shortly.

Just got back to the room. No turndown again, we don't have a single clean towel, beds are unmade from afternoon nap, and our dirty plates are still here too. The internal phones are all down inside the hotel but luckily I had the managers business card and called her from my cell phone. She was shocked, she personally told housekeeping to make sure we had turndown tonight. Somehow there is a major communication breakdown between management and housekeeping. I was hoping to shower tonight. Ugh. Annoying!!!!!!

All of this worries me somewhat. We have booked the Admiral Suite for next summer along with two other LV CL rooms. In order to have the rooms close to each other we've asked to have the rooms near the suite with CL access. I asked about still having turn down, etc. and I fear this is what will happen. Certainly hope things improve for you quickly. I love the YC and have always had impeccable service there.

We've always enjoyed our stays here. I think the housekeepers on this floor maybe aren't accustomed to turndown?? I never imagined what an ordeal it would be. Hopefully our room change tomorrow goes smoothly and we can put all of this stress to rest.

Good morning everyone! I think we are heading to Epcot today. I anticipate crowds to be insane since its Memorial Day and we have the room change too.... I figure we might as well stay close by.

Did I tell you guys we found an iPod in one of the drawers? It's a nice 64 GB touch, looks new, with the charger too. I opened up the contacts and called the phone number labeled "home" and left a voicemail with my name and number in case they might still be on property. But nothing back yet. So I guess I will turn it in to the front desk. I've left things at hotels before and often never see those items again, so I hope that doesn't happen. Also found a cute pair of shoes as well so maybe they're from the same family.

Tonight is EMH at the studios and we have an ADR for Mama Melrose. Looks like the weather will be perfect again.

That phone case is awesome! My DS would've loved it about 5 years ago. He's not a SW freak like he used to be. We took him to SWW for his b-day in 2007. It was fun.

Does anyone want to hear my latest room issue?? LOL I swear a person couldn't write a comedy sketch with this many snafus. Long story short... We waited and waited but did not receive the crucially important voicemail this morning to confirm our room change as Amy told me we would yesterday. When I called to inquire I was told we were not scheduled to change rooms today. After being placed on hold 3 times I was finally able to confirm the change but was told I would have no access to the 5th floor with my existing keys. Instead I was told I had to come back later this afternoon to have new keys cut on the lobby level. I knew this had to be incorrect information so I went upstairs and spoke with a club level castmember instead. After about an hour wasted we are finally headed to Epcot. If I added up all the hours spent trying to obtain the room we booked I'm sure we've lost a day. Hopefully when we return later today we will have a room. Fingers and toes crossed!!!!!!!

Epcot is very crowded but we just got a FP for TT at 12:45. Thank goodness!!!!!! I was worried our delay trying to switch rooms was going to jeopardize riding the boys favorite ride!!

Maybe later you can hint at all the lost time you have spent on this room issue and the may be able to comp you something...... Even primo viewing at a fireworks show would be a kind gesture in good faith.
