Sept 2013 Poly, 2012 Disney Fantasy, BC CL, GF CL, POR, 2011 Poly CL, CR, Poly CL, AKL, 2010 Poly CL, ASMu 2009, SSR 2008, Pop 2006, POR , Asmo 2005, Asmo 2003, offsite 2000, 1999,1989, Poly 1980, offsite 1979

Thanks! That is nice to know. My boys just like to have it before bed. I usually just buy the nesquik, but if CL has it, that would be great!

We pigged out LOL ;) It was really delicious

Oh no ..you didnt leave room for some evening appetizers in the lounge!!!???? ;)

Seriously...loving all of the pics...the view from the Poly lounge is so nice! And really enjoying your live trippie..as always! :goodvibes

My boys are picky too. They don't eat much in the mornings, not even at home. Their favorite breakfast at wdw are the cinnamon rolls at Gaston's in MK! :)

My boys won't even eat those. They are 5 and 7, very picky.

Sounds good to me though!

Off the wall question from my 12 year old. Do they still have packaged hot chocolate? I know the Nescafe machines can give you "brewed" hot chocolate, but for some reason he prefers the pacakges :confused3 Thanks!

I will check :)

Looking forward to hearing about Whispering Canyon. My family went there many years ago and enjoyed it. Stay cool Erika!!

Personally I'd be happy if they did away with to-go bowls and cafeteria trays.

This might be somewhat of a "snag" for some (not the word I'm looking for-but can't think of a better one). We have never had a problem finding a table at GF RPC during any of our stays. So we have never had the necessity for bowls or trays. However, at the BC CL being that it is extremely small, we did have to take things to go to our room. People were actually bumping into each other. I don't think that there were that many people. BC CL is just WAY too small and uncomfortable.

We did the same thing at BC CL. Not because we couldn't find room but our favorite thing was to come back and have a drink and dessert after our night in the parks. Sometimes our kids would fall asleep before we even made it into the lounge. So, either my DH or I would get a couple drinks and a couple desserts, to bring back, and we'd have them on the balcony while the kids slept.

This was not our case at all. It was always crowded :scared1: (but like I said, due to it's size)....however I must say, once in the room, eating there was actually very nice. We didn't mind it at all. I guess in the GF, we like being in the lounge and enjoying the music while we eat. Now, I'm hoping that this will be the case next week when we go. Keeping my fingers crossed because things can change. Who knows...I might go there and be knocked down by someone trying to hoard the offerings :rotfl2:.

OMGosh I am laughing so hard right now!!! After dinner we decided to hop a boat to Ft Wilderness to go check it out. Dh and the kids have been thinking about coming down here sometime and camping in a rental RV. So anyway, we get there and start walking around, it's dark, there's nobody really milling about, we start walking around the campground and the more we walk the darker it gets. We are following the twisty roads and its getting darker and the boys start freaking out! Next thing you know we are pulling out the flashlight apps on our iPhones, the boys start talking about snakes and bears, then we are practically running back to the boat dock. LOL ;)

I don't think you guys will be seeing any live trip reports from Ft Wilderness anytime soon. ;)

Who would have thought a trip to Disney would include a spooky walk in the woods. That sounds like a great family adventure. :rotfl:

Hey gang :) We had a fun night and now we're just about to go to sleep. ::yes:: I've got tons of pics uploading, dinner at Whispering Canyon was a hoot and we were so full be practically rolled out of there. :lmao:

We had ribs, pulled pork, chicken, beef loin, fish, and sausage along with corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and cornbread. We all ordered bottomless milkshakes and finished off dinner with 3 desserts. The cobbler was the best one! I think this meal is well worth the $29 and perfect if you have hungry growing boys. ;) We had a funny server and we enjoyed all the antics and joking around. I have a funny video of Nic getting a birthday greeting I will post as soon as it finishes uploading. :)

As you know we hopped the boat to Ft Wilderness after dinner for a fun adventure. I'm still giggling about it. :rotfl2: We saw a posted letter on a billboard warning about black bears and I think it was all downhill from that point.

We took the boat to the CR, hopping on the monorail, and made it back to the Poly in time for Wishes again! I swear I could watch it every night and never get tired of it.

Makes me wonder how many we're in her party or did she have " guests" at the pool? When we take snack or drinks to the pool we each take a plastic cup and fill it with a few things, grab a soda or fill up a cup with juice( to go with the rum we brought) & that's more than enough b/c we eat normal meals too.. Lol

Sounds like she was feeding a small army. Lol

FWIW, IMO the CL breakfasts are definitely meant to be a real breakfast, unlike the evening offerings. A bowl of oatmeal, some coffee, fruit, a pastry--that's more than I eat at home for breakfast! I think it's the greediness during evening appetizer times that can get people's hackles up (myself included).

I agree!
