Thanks for asking about Spectro, it is my all time favorite. The new enterance to Pooh looks really neat. Is there a difference to the ride? What about the closing of Toon Town? Where are the houses?

How nice that the weather is warm..I was in disney a few weeks ago and we were freezing!!!!

What a nice view from your room ..and I noticed the neat design on the balcony chairs..love those disney touches!

Here I am!!


My cell phone went completely dead today so I have been cutoff from my world!

Ok, so we started our day at epcot.... It was insanely crowded. We got a fp for test track and then headed into the showcase for most of the day. The kids did Kim possible and a few of the kidcot stations, we had lunch in Mexico at the quick service cantina .... By the time we did the complete circle it was time to head back into future world for test track. Then we hopped the monorail to the contemporary for dinner at chef mickeys. The chef came out and did a great job with our gluten free boy he brought him out some special Mac n cheese and chicken, then he also took us around the buffet and pointed out all the safe items. At the end of the meal he even brought out a gf cupcake for his dessert. Disney is so great for allergies!

We walked over to MK just as the park closed and grabbed a bus back to Kidani. Man it feels good to come back to this huge luxurious villa after a long day.

I have millions of pictures coming! My iPad doesn't really upload very quickly so I might have to wait and do a majority of the pics when we get home.

You sure are lucky to have such beautiful weather, really cold here in the midwest. Is the 2nd bathroom a half bath or is there a shower or tub? Are you happy that you skipped the food plan, or are you finding yourselves spending more $$$?

It is a full bathroom with tub/shower

I think we are probably saving a little bit by not doing dining plan. Our lunch today at the cantina was about $30 and dinner tonight at chef mickeys was about $120.... It's probably not much different but I don't feel as obligated to eat. Tomorrow night we have a reservation for dinner in Mexico but we might cancel and just snack. I am already feeling sick from all the food. but we will all be back on new years diets when we get home!

I love the picture of your youngest son with Duffy! I showed my DD9 the thread on Duffy on the Theme Parks board, and now of course, she has to have one. Did you hear if Duffy is just temporary or if he will be around for a while? We arrive May 14th. If you don't know, no big deal, I just thought I would ask.

I can't imagine he will leave anytime soon. He has his own deadicated meet and greet spot with statues of his book along a pathway, and a store right across offering him and all his clothing. I think his UK outfit is adorable. I saw lots of adult woman carrying around Duffy all dressed up. He seems here to stay. at chef mickeys last night all the characters were hugging him and kissing him .... So cute

Sounds like you guys are having a great time! Aside from the Osborne lights at HS, are there any other Christmas decorations up? Like the hanging wreaths across main street at MK and the large signature Christmas trees at each park?

Your pics are great, Erika! Thanks for the Ipad info - I really think I'm going to save up this year to pick one up! I love Duffy too! DH didn't want to wait while I stood in line to see him at Christmas so I didn't get to give him a hug. But next time, for sure!!! Your villa sounds marvelous - enjoy!!!

What a day!! My phone died again today so I've been cut off from the world. I've combed the parks for outlets and keep striking out. doesn't anyone ever need to charge their phone?

Ok so we went back to the studios this morning to try and hit toy story mania but struck out. So we did the animation thingy and saw Lotso, which was very high on our youngest sons list. Then we hit HISTK playground, great movie ride, and a few other character meet and greets. Lightning and Mater, etc. We got back early and decided to hit the pool. The boys loved the splash area and they played trivia and won a stuffed Teddy bear.

After the pool we quickly got ready for dinner and hopped a bus Epcot. Lucky us one was waiting! dinner was at teppen edo, of course that came along with shopping at the Japanese toy store. Finishing the night off with a pastry in France and Illuminations.

I have so many pictures to share!! I will hurry now and try to upload a few.....
